Michael Terry played rb in high school too fwiw -
Brooks is absolutely right but he’s also a Georgia fan and using every opportunity to stick Texas’ nose in this mess.

23 consecutive sets won in a row! Got me curious, what’s the record? -
Barnes, Townsend or Winston - short yardage back?

Wisner re-injured his hamstring again vs Florida so they better figure something out . It’s clear Clarke isn’t the same player . Gibson didn’t even see the field . Nor did Simon. Arch is the run game. -
Given the uncertainty around Baxter’s hamstring/health feel like we should give 1 of these guys a shot as a short yardage back. Barnes played RB in high school, in addition to LB. Townsend is a hell of an athlete and very physical. Saw on an another site that Wisner re-injured his hamstring on the td run. Really need to have a physical runner in the SEC for short yardage. Realize we also need some holes for them to run through.

No decision yet on who the new play caller and OL coach will be. We will be patiently waiting for white smoke!

Kyle Flood has got to go
robertcook91 replied to Burt Reynolds Jr's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Hire Pittman as OL coach. Then Sark can hire a full time OC who spends 24/7 figuring out the next team's defense and can spend half of the game making adjustments. -
The worst eval is having Hutson be beat out by Campbell after a year of starting as a freshmen and thinking that guy is starting center material after he’s been on campus for 4 years.
-
He started a ginger at OG, and you just don’t come back from that kind of eval.
-
Crazy you continue to have this attitude when the product on the field is atrocious. Like dude come on, use your eyes and be objective. Or should we continue to “trust the coaches” that are 100% responsible for this mess?

Nick Brooks - Florida

Crazy how many offensive line experts and future tellers are in this thread. -
Imagine the situation at guard being so bad that Flood has to plug a true freshman OT in a left guard to try and plug the hole. What guards did he think he was grooming to take over these past three years?

Nick Brooks - Florida

OU offered more NIL I believe. -
Why don't you think he has the measurements to play tackle at 6'8 360 lbs? I see him as a Cam Williams low end or Bryant McKinney high end. On the interior I think it's tough for him against shorter guys on the interior who can get off quicker when his hands in the ground. I view Daniel Cruz, Jackson Christian, Hutson, Campbell , Robertson and Nate Kibble as their best bets as prototype guards. Goosby, Baker, Brooks as their best tackles but I could be wrong.

He would start at RT. John Mills looks nice at Washington too
-
He's at LT for OU right? He would not have won that job here.
