  1. Past hour
  2. Card/Thompson years: Sark just needs his QB Ewers years: Ewers is the problem. Arch will be the fix Arch years: Arch is the problem and can’t run Sark’s offense can we admit what the common denominator is and that Sark has largely been an average OC is his career minus the year he OC’d under the greatest coach in college sports with one of the most talented offenses ever assembled?
  3. Could have fooled the whole board there boss you have been the biggest arch hater there is
  4. Dang, I really have not liked Baker’s play. I was hoping there was some positive changes to the oline happening.
  5. It should have stayed that way Baker has been trash at RG
  6. PK was infinitely better than flood. If sark cares about winning, at all, flood is fired the day after they lose the last game. Either he's a bad coach or he can't coach his group.
  7. It looked like Baker had an injury or something because you can see him motioning to the sideline that he needed to come off the field. Laurence Seymore came in for two or three plays and Sikorski went to right guard. Seymore didn't come back into the game until the second unit was in on the offense's last drive.
  8. The o line had some injuries? And my bad, I didn’t watch the whole game.
  9. Not even close. 2014 Shawn Watson offensive FEI: 88th 2017 Tim Beck offensive FEI: 95th 2026 offensive FEI: 34th
  10. Yes. And the ball always has to go somewhere. if you're the QB, do you want to throw it to Graceson Littleton, Bo Mascoe, or Kade Phillips?
  11. It wasn't a pulling. It was adjusting to injuries. The line eventually went back to the starters.
  12. Marcus Myers is saying Brandon Baker was pulled in place of Dylan #56 and Seymore replaced him at LG. Did anyone notice that?
  13. Anyone who doesn’t see how bad the OL play is, isn’t watching the game. I saw the LG get beat 1-1, RG and RT let 1 man beat them, and at least 1 free runner beat us last night. Don’t even get me started on run blocking. We got worked. Sark needs to call better and more quick 1 read throws to back defenses off these 6 and sometimes 7 man fronts. Our OL looks lost with stunts and blitzes which hurts our running game and drop backs. Not enough TE throws behind these LBs, short quick throws under 20 yds, or quick throws to the RB(amazing we had the RB screen and the wide open TD to the RB). More of those types of plays Sark! Obviously, our OL is not going to be able to protect longer than 2 seconds very often. There is a reason why defenses aren’t running their base defenses against us. Terrible OL play and no adjustments by Sark to get them away from blitzing way more than they typically do or are comfortable with. Burn them when they do it!
  14. If Lewis Obiorah as the backup center can give Texas some good minutes against the bigger teams in the SEC, that raises the floor of this team.
  15. Sure, can’t lose to a team at home when favored 13.5
  16. I think that is because we put him on oppositions numero uno receiver. Bobby may kick me off of here so I will be gentle ... is there anything on the planet up to your personal standards?
  17. That's it for Sean Miller. Looking forward to tomorrow's opener at Moody Center.
  18. Miller mentioned that Marcus Spears and Amari Evans can allow Texas to play bigger defensively.
  19. David Punch anchored TCU's defense, Miller said. Punch's long arms, quickness and great instincts make him a great player. Punch and Matas playing together can work for Texas defensively, Miller said.
  20. Allowed just 16 receptions on 31 targets, an only one longer than 25 yards. Kade has been very, very reliable for Texas this season.
  21. Tom Herman anyone? Anyone?
  22. Matas is "much more agile away from the basket than you think he is," Miller said. That should allow him to stay on the court late in games instead of subbing him out for defensive purposes. Miller said they've put him in a position to be better in situations where he switches and has to be on a smaller, quicker player.
