Am I crazy for this but it really doesn't make sense that we play the first round on a thursday and a friday? Now I'm sitting around on a sunday morning with nothing to watch. I don't get why fans try to gauge conferences. How strong or weak a conference is perceived to be isn't an indictment on an individual team. Moreso, if you win a championship and don't play in the strongest conference (hello UConn women) does that take away from the fact that you either beat enough of or everyone that was put in front of you? In my most humble opinion the we play in this conference or that conference is an excuse fans use when their team doesn't get the job done.🤷🏿
