  1. Past hour
  2. Even though he isn't perfect I think it's great to have a guy with his experience in the system at C. Still need to find some better guards, though.
  3. He may verbally commit, but hold of signing til he visits Texas. It’s now called “Getting Smotherly”
  4. Gerry gonna drop a hi and bounce 🤣
  5. Yeah, he was I agree, but not super well known outside of Texas and Saints fans. I can’t believe I forgot Stoney Clark!!!
  6. OU fan and thinking now that’s an actual thing lol. OU wants to believe that Texas is going to lost everyone but Cam. Not happening. The tide floats all boats. Coleman Wingo and Moseley are all going to EAT plenty. The real trick will be which one will you try and double?!
  7. Bring him in for a visit. Need some of Indiana brought in.
  8. Yeah I almost said David Thomas, but he was kinda a star in that offense.
  9. Quan Cosby, but I’ll say as far as the “dark” era of Texas, I have a ton of respect for Tyrone Swoops. He wasn’t a good QB, but did what it took to be a contributor.
  10. Idk what that ou fan was thinking lol
  11. Is he any good? Haven’t watched much of ole miss so genuinely just asking not trolling
  12. Lil'Jordan Humphrey was one of my favorites, and he should have stayed one more year to at least get drafted.
  13. David Thomas, Dan Neil, Chris Ogbanaya, Dusty Renfro, Pat Fitzgerald, Keith and Kerry Cash, Tony Jones, Peter Gardere, Tony Brackens, and Mike Adams.
  14. I thought he was headed to LSU
  15. Here come the O-lineman?
  16. RB Christian Clark is officially in the portal.
  17. Height aint the issue hand
  18. Always liked James Kirkendoll. Can’t tell you why.
  19. I agree; Sikorski is depth this year but may be a starter in 2027. He has plenty of eligibility left. We still do need a starting Guard and Tackle/Guard. Bennet may be the Tackle/Guard, maybe not. A 4th OL would not hurt my feelings.
  20. Between this and Gerry’s “hi” I’m intrigued
  21. Johnny "Ham" Jones. running back on the 1977 team, which went undefeated and was ranked # 1 in the regular season before losing to That Team Up North in the Cotton Bowl, featuring Joe Montana (still the most painful game I ever watched almost 50 years later). He was Earl Campbell's blocking back (lol) though he was just 5'9" and weighed 184 lbs per the official roster. Earl outweighed him by about 40 lbs. He was always overshadowed by Johnny "Lam" Jones, the electric Olympic Gold Medal winner in (I think) the 4x100 sprint relay. "Lam" was from Lampasas and "Ham" from Hamlin, hence the nicknames. The stars of that team included Earl (Heisman Trophy winner), Brad Shearer (Outland Trophy winner as best lineman), Steve McMichael (all around bad ass, in college and pros), Olympian "Lam" Jones, punter and place kicker Russell Erxleben, and Cinderella QB Randy McEachern who rose from 5th string in August to QB1 early in the OU game when the last two QBs in front of him were injured. "Ham" Jones just showed up every day and did his job. Stats for that golden 1977 regular season include 489 yards rushing on 92 carries (5.3 ypc) with 6 touchdowns. Always had a lot of respect for Johnny "Ham" Jones.
  22. I guess Wingo and Moseley didn’t catch any balls this year…
  23. man i’m not sure. but when i first started seeing posts.. i ignored it. i don’t believe anything other then OTF. but when i tell you. she’s been 100% right every day. & before anyone else. i mean she’s been brilliant… lol. if i see her say something i take it to the bank. regarding hollywood, brown, the OL situations, zina, the Ole miss OL. i mean all of it.
  24. I’m telling y’all! Go do the Gideon move with an interior line coach. Pay him $2m to recruit/close guys in portal. Let Flood continue to produce NFL 1st round tackles 🤷🏻‍♂️
  25. I think if Bennett plays with us he will most likely kick inside to guard. That’s where he projects in the NFL anyways so might as well get some snaps there in college. And I think he has the intelligence, size, and movement skills to compete for a starting spot at guard for us.
