Gerry wants to do more watch with us programming for sure. May do one for a big baseball or softball game coming up. And I love visiting with former Longhorns. We’re going to have Brad Shearer on sometime next week. You young guys will have to look him up! Won the Outland at Texas in the late 70s.

- I’m going to do a NIL one that will be drastically more accurate than what some have put forward. Some of what I’ve seen is absurdly wrong. - I like that idea on the personnel department. - Appreciate the kind words. None of this would be possible without Texas fans joining us in this endeavor.

Love the watch along. Can we get more of those for big Texas games outside football? Always love to hear from former longhorns. Maybe like a recurring thread where you interview longhorns and find out not only what it meant for them to wear the burnt orange, but also, how it affected them for life after sports. Like the "Where are they now?" section or something.

D1Baseball has Texas as the No. 5 overall national seed ahead of the Longhorns playing in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals on Friday. The projection has Texas bracketed with No. 12 overall seed West Virginia for a potential Austin Super Regional. The Austin Regional is currently projected to be: 1. Texas 2. Boston College 3. Missouri State 4. Oral Roberts

The staff already crushes it with extensive knowledge and covering of high school recruits, but I would love to see broader and more systematic coverage of portal players—even grading or ranking them like you do for high school recruits. Go ahead and use Gerry’s +++++++ scale if you’d like. I just think there’s some definite meat on the bone with the portal, and NOBODY in the industry has it totally cornered. Plus, I want to hear the OTF scouting report on portal players more than I do others in the industry who actively cover the portal.
