  2. Agree. It seems which group to assign Bama and Mizzou Florida, Georgia, with Miss St, Vandy, and Kentucky or LSU, Tenn, Auburn, SCarolina, and Ole Miss Makes more sense to pair Bama with Florida and Georgia and then pair Mizzou with the LSU/Tenn group.
  3. I was curious If Ohio State & Texas were mirror images of each other on the field so I did a deep dive on the recruiting rankings of all of the contributors on both sides of the ball to see how they match up. I have no idea at this moment what the data is going to show, but let's take a look. 5. Ryan Day’s beard is colored on with sharpie
  6. Except we didn’t lose BOTH coordinators which is what i think will be their downfall against us. You’re never just going to be completely cohesive on both sides of the ball game one with two new coordinators.
  7. These would be awesome games to travel for, on par with the Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame on the schedule. Over the past decade, we've been spoiled with trips to the LA Coliseum, California Memorial Stadium, the Big House, and now the Shoe.
  8. Yeah, and I would argue that they should have returned to the natty game despite replacing VY with McCoy. Unfortunately, McCoy got hurt against K-State and A&M and Texas lost both of those games. If they had won both of those games, they would've beaten Nebraska in the Big 12 title game and gotten into the natty game over Florida. Could've had a rematch in Glendale that season. That team was basically the '05 team minus VY and a couple of other key contributors.
  9. Per Grok, only 3 of those guys started against USC in the 05-06 Rose Bowl. Grok‘s been wrong before. Either way, a massive fact missing from your comparison is that Texas is not returning the stars that 06 Ohio State was. If this was Arch’s second season as QB1, I would be much more concerned.
  10. The ‘06 Texas team returned all five starters from their ‘05 national championship team? That’s wild.
  11. That’s pretty weak too. Michigan’s non-conference schedule has improved. Texas, @ OU, OU, @ Texas, then nothing of quality until Notre Dame in ‘33 & ‘34 so I figure they’ll schedule another Home / Away with a SEC Program. Bama and Georgia have quality non-conference schedules lined up. It’ll be interesting to see which programs schedule Big 10, Big 12, or ACC programs. Notre Dame only has so many openings.
  12. Michigan's 2023 champs played East Carolina, UNLV, and Bowling Green, so there's that.
  13. I don't think Texas will get Alabama again int the regular season until 2028. I think they will get Missouri instead. But still, that's a tough schedule, but will be the new norm for the SEC and Big 10 going forward.
  14. Not a fan of that ASU home and away either. I like what Bobby said on Friday about UCLA, Virginia, or North Carolina being options. Go where you’re planning to recruit.
  15. I’d have to imagine that would be a Top 3 SOS
  16. I love how proactive CDC and Sark were to lock in a premier non-conf game annually for next 5 yrs, getting ahead of the awesome news from Sankey re: 9 conf game schedule starting next season. College football has never been better imo. 2025 - Ohio St @OSU 2026 - Ohio St. @ Texas 2027 - Michigan @ Texas 2028 - Notre Dame @ ND 2029 - Notre Dame @ Texas Need to drop the home and home with ASU 2032 / 2033 imho. No upside to that game. Keep it with top programs from Big 10. Would love to see home and home games against Penn State and Oregon starting 2030. Hook em!! 🧡🐂🤘🏼
  17. Color me not shocked that Ole Miss has zero quality non-con games scheduled

  19. Extremely nice guy. We need to get him back on Coffee and Football soon!
  20. Oh, that must be Texas Tech, not Tennessee Tech.
  21. Best of luck to Silas
  22. It definitely would be a heck of a schedule. Thanks for the share

  24. The OL line that just proved it could win a championship was blocking for Judkins, Henderson, and Howard. In 2006, we were playing at home against Ohio State with redshirt freshman Colt McCoy making only his second start. Starters on the OL were Blalock, Dockery, Sendlein, Studdard and Hills, all returners from our championship season. We lost that game. Just Sayin.
  25. I watched the 2019 game vs Baylor with Case McCoy at a hotel bar. We were both there for different family events, but watched Texas get our butts kicked all the way to the bitter end. The game sucked, but Case couldn't have been nicer.
