  1. Past hour
  2. Might let up on "quitters' until we get eliminated from playoffs in a few weeks unless offense pulls a 180. I could see several Jr's and Sr's "preparing for draft"...
  3. A year ago, we thought a mobile Joe Burrow was wasting away on the sidelines while a future 7th rounder plateaued. There are new datapoints. Hopefully misleading and incomplete but nevertheless can't blame our fans. Everyone inside a college blueblood or NFL lockeroom knows the reality of tape is worse than the distasteful fan boos, Sark and Arch and Taaffe essentially acknowledged it.
  4. Here’s another fun rushing stat….45% of Texas’ 53 rushing attempts went for 2 or fewer yards …. against UTEP!!!
  5. To clarify, can Caldwell or Owens play the Haynes roll? If not, do you go to Lacey if Arch goes down? Or, if the drop-off to QB2 isn't much, do you just not implement the Haynes plan, making it easier for QB2 to come in with the preferred scheme? Your approach makes perfect sense given the situation, but I'm not sure it's a season long solution.
  6. It’s not 3 games. Our OL hasn’t been as good as it should be for awhile
  7. Perfect example of why tip drills matter. Makuba has a bright future in the league.
  8. Damn. Hope he heals soon.
  9. I hate that.
  10. Right or wrong I can see Sark dying on the Hill with Arch... We shall see.... I just want to win games.
  11. He's in his 3rd year in the program, there are QB's much younger than him performing much higher than him. He can't even complete simple passing routes so yes if he plays like crap again vs SHSU he should be benched and it should be likely for the season. Continuing to throw him out there with his mental issues isn't going to make them any better, in fact it will only further those mental issues.
  12. And what do you suggest if Sark does not bench him?
  13. So you want to bench a first year starter after 3 games? If you do that you are basically giving up on him.
  14. We either fix whatever it is that's wrong with Manning in the next two weeks, or we have to make a change at QB. We can't go into conference with this QB playing like this. And yeah, probably the most shocking player performance in the 40-ish years I've been watching Texas football.
  15. It's literally the only thing he's good at currently.
  16. Today
  17. The only way it could get worse is if the backup turned the ball over more but other than that you literally cannot get much worse.
  18. The backup is normally a good place to start. But if not Caldwell, then Cole Brevard.
  19. It's nice to watch Red Zone on a Sunday and see a lot of Longhorns across the league.
  20. Angle or not, Josh Simmons was on some Larry Allen stuff to deny Mukuba a pick-six.
  21. Do I need permission to see it? Looks like I'm unable to access
  22. We have had some great players recently on our team.
  23. This is the same Turkish League club Dogus Balbay played for and and helped lead to two EuroLeague titles:
  24. Yessir, Posted each Sunday after the game
