  1. Past hour
  2. Such huge upside that LSU, the team you’ve drooled over for weeks and rarely loses anyone they want to keep, let him walk out the door.
  3. Paz has huge upside 🤣
  4. If Georgia is so stacked and has so few holes, why are they taking dudes like Jason Flores? Or Marcos Paz and his 9 ERA with the hopes he can be a weekend starter? You would have flipped out if this site reported our Sunday starter next year was a dude who had a 9 ERA this year and you would have talked about how the staff didn’t do enough to upgrade. But when Georgia does it, it’s okay? Quite the double standard.
  5. Regardless, a very talented group to work with. Add former five-stars: Brandon Baker (composite) Jermaine Bishop Jr. (247) Xavier Filsaime (composite) Jonah Williams (composite) Kade Phillips (composite) Tyler Atkinson (composite) Kaliq Lockett (composite)
  6. Excited about all three young lbs this season
  7. hey can you put something that makes this look not like its going to give me a damn heart attack on the title
  8. Next years 1-9 will be much deeper than this years team. We won’t have Larson and Pendergrass batting 8th and 9th. The pitching will also be much deeper.. They’ve definitely upgraded
  9. Was told by a source this morning that Tyler Atkinson is roughly 6-2 and sitting at about 222 pounds right now. Likely to be around 225 when the season starts. The initial roster has him at 6-1, 216.
  10. When a team doesnt win a natty it has to be upgraded not just fill holes look what Miller did he upgraded. Even Sark upgraded not sure why Schloss cannot do that
  11. 1000%. That doesn’t even include Linkin Garcia who everyone wanted. We didn’t have as many holes to fill as everyone else either. Paz knew he wasn’t going to start at Texas and he will at UGA. It’s really not very hard to figure out why he didn’t pick Texas
  12. Okay, homer. When our team has more holes than other teams, we cannot afford to miss as often. We have already missed on several top targets, including Angel Laya, Bino Watters, Nate Savoie, and now Paz (which were all top targets), but you are too much of a sunshine pumper to see it. You can be constructive at times, but it is pointless talking to you.
  13. Which Longhorns Join an All-Conference Team in 2026? *** I was going through reasons for optimism with this Texas roster and came across the conversation of All-Conference level players. Based off of just the 2025 seasons, this is what the 2026 roster shakes out when it comes to players who received All-Conference honors. Consider this, but also include the likes of Arch Manning, Cam Coleman, Emmett Mosley V, Jelani McDonald, Hero Kanu, Melvin Siani, Ian Geffrard and Brad Spence are all set to fill out the roster. So I pose this question: Which Longhorn, who has not received an previous All-Conference honors, is most likely to be listed on the All-SEC roster by year's end? Arch Manning and Cam Coleman probably lead the way. Any bites on a Kade Phillips? What about a Melvin Siani? Let me know what you think.
  14. It's pretty funny how scared you get anytime someone announces for another school not named Texas and the conspriacy theories you come up with. Should we have gone after players who weren't as talented so that we don't have as many "misses" and you could feel better? The competition for good players is intense. Sorry, we aren't going to bat 1.000. We beat Georgia for Ian Armstrong. We beat Tennessee and LSU for Sawyer Solitaria. We beat South Carolina for Gavin King. But feel free to keep worrying.
  15. Him picking UGA is all about fit. He wouldn’t have been a weekend starter at Texas next year and he will be at UGA. Simple as that. We’re going to have Volantis , cozart , and Winter/Walls/Crossland/Rangel/Jorgenson/one of the other big time freshman arms fight it out for the third weekend spot next year. UGA lost all 3 of their weekend starters.. It’s really not hard to figure out why he picked them. UGA also has 7 guys in their HS class and were going to end up bringing in 18.. Those guys cost money.
  16. My thoughts? Offense: QB, LG, C, RT, TE Defense: DT, NT, LC, RC, SS, FS
  17. We have more depth this year. I’m not sure it’s that close. Few of the non-starters were impactful at Texas much less the NFL. The redshirts were great, but they weren’t playing. The starters were great, but there was a falloff. The portal makes much of that possible.
  18. It’s been said here that we are in the top portion with this many misses it has to be staff or someone negatively recruiting against us. Uga has beaten us this past year pretty easily with a team full of transfers
  19. Everything you need to know from this clip is what Sauce says at the end: "If I had an NFL player (come through in HS) I would do the same thing."
  20. Today
  21. That D Line!! Phew, there were some DUDES o-line too. The secondary you got Aaron Ross second team! Man they were fierce. That backfield was legit! Selvin was your 3rd back! I will say we have more depth a receiver this year by far and TE. Should be interesting to see what that d line looks like when the dust settles I think we may have as good or better depth and talent there than we did in 2005. QB depth is definitely better this season. Hypothetical, if Arch takes us to the promised land this season how close does he come to over taking VY as the greatest/most favorite QB in Texas history? VY is still my guy but Arch would be close if he does what we think he can this year!
