  1. Past hour
  2. Its a friday night game and most players still have playoff games either that night or the next day
  3. I might be overlooking it. Is there a list of recruits visiting on Friday?
  4. IOL x2 RB TE LB CB S
  5. Gotta be 2 or even 3 guys in the interior for OL and at least a starter at RB that we know is gonna produce, you can find the at the G5 level for cheap. Don’t really care about WR, I think we can manage, they’re also really expensive, don’t know if that would be a good ROI. A TE that’s more of a threat in the passing game would be nice. Safety is a must. Line backer we probably need an SEC starter level player. Probably need one or two dbs?
  6. Arkie has had times when they were really good under Broyles, Hatfield, Holtz and pretty good under Petrino and Nutt. Pretty area and now easier to get to. NIL, They should be able to play with the Waltons, Tysons, Jones etc in the mix. Would rather they stay down because they bring it when they play us. It is a holy war.
  7. Oregon State and Washington State had seasons every now and then with 9-10 wins against much better competition than what they’ll be faced with now. Oregon State and Washington State are at worst good spring board jobs. IF (big IF) a coach ever got Ark to the CFP, that coach would be immediately poached by the next blue blood program that comes open
  8. He’s one of the most respected NFL draft evaluators, had Drake Maye and Jordan Love as QB1s in their respective class when it wasn’t the norm, says he would rate Arch a “purple chip” prospect, which in his system is the highest grade available. Says people from the outside aren’t really watching the games since right now he’s the sole engine of the Texas offense. Just thought I’d share this since it’s sparked quite a discussion on twitter… I’d also like to point out the number of comments in the yahoo post vs the clips Nate posted where he explains why he rates Arch so highly.
  9. I agree including trying to entice Muhammad and even Hill to come back. Go all in like Ohio State did last year.
  10. By conference: SEC - Auburn, because of their boosters and admin. Vanderbilt is second for me. BIG - Rutgers or Purdue ACC - Duke, basketball outshines you no matter what. Big 12 - Kansas similar to Duke but also outshined by Kansas State
  11. Neither is serious about football, hence why they now play in the 2-team Pac12 while other schools went to power conferences.
  12. I don’t see how Wake and BC are worse jobs than Arkansas. You have zero recruiting base if you’re Arkansas except getting unappreciated guys from BEAST Texas and hoping they develop into studs….who are loyal.
  13. Today
  14. IMO next year should be in it to win it year. Spare no expense and go above budget to shoot for a title.
  15. It all depends on the amount of money we have to work with. If it is a similar dollar amount to last year then we will go after overall depth shortfalls again. Sark maximized our money last year.
  16. A wish I have that wouldn’t require as much NIL as Coleman would be Marsh out of Michigan State. He’d be easily the best receiver on our team.
  17. Can’t have wish list without players in the portal is my point. Yes I’m aware players are lured into the portal.
  18. Yes because players are never lured to the portal before they enter.
  19. A steady presence in the safety or corner room would be nice. They’ve been exposed way too much for my liking. A downhill runningback, a wide receiver that can win in space and a road grader or two at guard.
  20. Arkansas plays Texas, LSU and either Bama or UGA for the next four years. Even if they go 1-2 in those games, that’s pretty much a guaranteed 3+ loss season for the next 4 years unless a coach turns things around in a big way. Especially if LSU starts playing the way they can/should. Ark could get a coach like Cignetti, but that coach for sure won’t be blessed with the same schedule Cignetti’s been blessed with the last 2 years.
  21. Give me Baugh at RB while we groom Cooper. 2-3 SEC starter quality interior OL 1-2 burner WRs who can create separation and take the top off a defense. Defer to others on our defensive needs.
  22. Not really, they have manageable schedules and better histories than the other teams that are in their conference. They should be perennial contenders for the g6 spot in the playoffs next year on if either of them have close to a good coach
  23. I think Ark is the worst just because of expectations. If you go 0-3 vs Texas with under 10 wins in your first 3 years you’re likely a goner. Hell 0-2 even if the losses are bad enough
  24. I guess they aren’t technically P4 anymore but Oregon State and Washington State would be up there.
  25. The only reason it was close is because we went cold in the second half. We missed open shots. Rori was on point and we needed her veteran leadership to pull it off.
  26. Arkansas might be worse because Arkansas has a history of being a good football program and is one of those that will be very hard to ever be a contender. The fans yearn to return to being an “equal” of Texas but probably never will be (consistently).
  27. Arky needs a Jerry Jones/Walton family type to do a Texas Tech for them.
