where is Sark gonna go? 😂😂😂 I agree with you
-
He’s telling you they already gave him that ultimatum, Sark already refused once.
-
I don't doubt this might be Sark's preference but there is absolutely no chance the AD and boosters funding the NIL operation will accept this. If Sark is back it will be with an actual offensive coordinator being hired.

Injuries happen in football and this is what recruiting is for, improvise adapt overcome

That's ridiculous dude. There is very little chance Sark is the play caller next year. You have to be kidding me if you think CDC and those funding our NIL operation are going to sign up for another year of Sark's horrible coordination of the offense. If Sark keeps his job (fairly big if given we likely lose at least two more games), there will be a coordinator hired for sure.
-
Nick Saban, Kirby Smart, and countless others got head coaching jobs because they were elite coordinators, but understood that being a HC requires more than calling plays. Refusing to give up play calling when it’s clearly not working isn’t leadership, it’s ego getting in the way of what’s best for the program.

He’ll pin it on Arch and flush him out like they did Ewers. Then it’s off to the Lacey / Dia era with little change to the putrid multi year issues at OL and running game. Maybe Lacey or Dia help early on with their legs in 2027 before they get that coached out of them too. With no running game and no OL to count on we go on another frustrating September and October of inconsistent poorly managed football and eventually the roars from donors spending millions on the program grow louder than the ability to pin losses on quarterbacks. Sark resigns and Major Applewhite triumphantly returns to Austin as head coach with Muschamp as DC in the ironic twist of all ironic twists. Texas goes on to win back to back natties.
-
Kyle Flood and Banks are gone baring a big run in the playoffs. Camara will be retained regardless of what happens with Flood. Not sure on Nansen. The LBs are playing well.
-
He didn’t learn enough from Saban, then. And/or is stubborn to an insane fault. Coaches ask players to do what is best for the team, not themselves, constantly. But Sark won’t give up playcalling duties because he enjoys it? I really do like him as our head coach, but his hubris there could very, very easily be his downfall
-
Keep Flood as tackles coach (probably cut his salary) hire interior OL coach. Remove Banks from Special teams and hire a special teams coach. Fire Milwee and hire a real OC and QB coach that has roots in the west coast offense.
-
As Hank said, if Sark can't be the play caller he won't be coaching at Texas. He's said numerous times he won't give it up and that it was the reason he got the Texas job.
-
I don’t think Sark is coaching at Texas if he’s not the play caller.
-
And we fail to make the playoffs once again. After evaluating your program, what changes do you make and why? Hook'em! Do you go for the Full Monty on your offensive staff and hire an OC/QB coach, or do you just replace a select few?
-
And yet, we are far worse.
- Today
-
We would block in the back on the kick. Then they would retry and get the ball back.
-
KJ transfers and arch comes back for his senior year is what i am predicting
-
We would still find a way to have them recover
-
You can’t have the backup QB moving the offense and looking better than the starter. Coaching 101
-
Please don't steal Jake Dickert from my Alma Mater! I know he's going to be gone at some point because he's awesome, but can I interest you in one Manny Diaz? He's an Alumni and is doing well at Duke! He's also familiar with coaching in Florida!

Yeah this is insanely illogical
