  1. Past hour
  2. I agree I think Wingo has shown he’s much better as a YAC receiver than a deep ball threat. Need to find ways to get Coleman more opportunities that don’t involve long developing routes. One on one matchups where he can go up and get it. He’s done it in the red zone a couple times.
  3. Is Wingo faster and quicker? I think he’s better with the ball in his hands. If he checks those boxes, then he’s the guy to move around.
  4. So far, you are right but hopefully his role with evolve and expand as we move into the meat of our schedule and get past all the mental errors our offensive unit has created.
  5. After watching the historic performance by CeeDee Lamb against the Texans, I listened to Shannon Sharpe & Ocho discuss how the Cowboys moved CeeDee all over the field and utilized him in creative ways. It got me thinking about how Sark and the Longhorns are using (or not using) Cam Coleman. My hot take is... Explain how we're doing anything different than how Auburn used him, through the first 4 games of the season? We heard all this talk about how he would be a complete WR, have a diverse route tree, be in a creative offense etc. All I see so far is him being used as a deep ball 50/50 jump ball threat. Same thing in the red zone. All I've seen are fades and glance routes. Were we sold a bill of goods? Is this on Sark, Arch or Cam himself?
  6. Between Texas and OU, the programs claim 11 national titles, and in every single instance, the team that hoisted the national championship trophy won the Red River Rivalry game earlier that season.
  7. Interesting. We also have a three game winning streak against aggie. When’s the last time we’ve had three game streaks against both at the same time?
  8. They don’t miss and get better every week
  9. @Joe Z just posted a link - not sure that deserves a RAH RAH or anything.
  10. 65–51–5-1 Texas has the edge all time and now Sarks tenure is going quite well for the Horns. One of the things that happened in the past couple of years is Texas ability to revive all the Rivalry games. Great for recruiting...great for the state...and more than anything else great for college football.
  11. Very well done
  12. True and the only thing that kept it from being worse is those were some really good Texas teams. They were just that good.
  13. Must have been a hell of a drill to gain an extra + 👀
  14. Stoops owned Texas for the most part. Very frustrating, hopefully Sark will have a long tenure of returning the favor.
  15. Is this the reason for not pushing for Wabbington
  16. 100%. Scheyer is the key, along with health. This is his most talented team 1 through 15 he's had, but it has to mesh. They don't have the super star, but they are going to be very versatile and so deep. Duke has 8-10 future NBA picks on this roster. NCAA Tournament is a brutal to go win 6 in a row for sure. Tom Izzo has 1 NC, in 2000, and is one of the best college coaches in my adult lifetime. Anything, but a guarantee.
  17. WOW, just shows that they have had the edge of late during the Stoops years and our years wandering through the wilderness after Mack's delayed exit and the years following that.
  18. Today
  19. '94 grad. 1990-94. Peter "The Great" Gardere, ou slayer. He never lost to blowU. The Cash twins and Johnny Walker made a lot of those wins happen. We were the dog every year I was there. Great f'n games!
  20. Mook is one of my all time favorite Horn. There needs to be a movie about his story.
  21. I appreciate all the hard work you put in Gerry. You definitely are putting miles on your ride to give us in person access. Have a Chik-Fil-A spicy chicken and waffles for me!
  22. Steve Sarkisian can become the first Texas head coach to beat Oklahoma three consecutive times since David McWilliams from 1989-91.
  23. Duke will almost always have the most talented team in college basketball, but if having NBA level talent were everything, they would’ve made more than one Final Four appearance in the last decade and won at least two national championships. They can be had in a single game elimination tournament just like any team if they have an off game. Having that level of talent raises the floor of your program, but it’s not everything.
  24. Compete ... for sure. Texas can win on the glass ... Duke's ability to attack off the deck with multiple guys would be an issue. Texas would have to deal with Duke's length on the perimeter on the wings too... but Texas is b uilt to compete with anyone this season (if healthy enough.
