  1. Past hour
  2. I doubt Texas is that concerned with 2027 prospects rn. Besides winning on the field, they're probably more focused on closing the 2026 class strong before turning their attention to the 2027 cycle, which is a year and a half away from signing day.
  3. pants pissing over 2027 prospects? what are we doing
  4. Doubt he leaves. He's got everything he wants at Texas A&M in more fertile recruiting grounds.
  5. Meredith just got Fong’d to A&M… he is a must get and reason we didn’t take a great on paper corner this year. What are we doing
  6. Georgia and the ref were too good. Finishing with a dejected BB at the end was the cherry on top lol
  7. Good luck. Williams-Brice is not an easy place to play...then they have Ole Miss, Tenn., Bama, Mizzou, and LSU. There's a real possibility they could lose out. I don't see BV surviving this season unless he pulls off a miracle or Nagy doesn't want to fight a vicious coaching change cycle. OU competing with PSU, UCLA, and potentially Florida isn't ideal.
  8. Today
  9. It might cause a disturbance in the Force.
  10. Agreed 100% lol. Especially after they already caught the shaft from the OU game!
  11. Agreed. He is a disgrace to the coaching profession!!!
  12. I wonder what College Station would do if Elko took off to Happy Valley👀
  13. Agree. It's the school that was at the beginnings of Johnny Majors and Earle Bruce's careers. MC is also the all-time winningest coach in that school's history. He may not win a national championship, but if he stays at ISU and wins a conference championship or somehow gets into the playoffs, he might have a statue of himself on that campus someday.
  14. I think we saw a spray chart after the Florida game - bad percentage completion to the left side. Zero throws beyond the line of scrimmage to the left side against OU. Interesting.
  15. The boat is pretty big this year and almost all coaches are getting a ride. Campbell may not be as hot as he was a couple of years ago, but I think another school will try to hire him. If nothing else, he’ll get a bigger payday at ISU.
  16. I don't think the window has completely closed and if it has, I believe it could open again for him...unless their program takes a nosedive or he pulls a Tom Herman. Let's say Cignetti leaves. I can see MC being a candidate at IU. I could see him as a candidate for Wisky if they decide to make a change. I see him more as a fit as a Big Ten coach. I don't see him fitting at an SEC school as much, except maybe Mizzou and OU. And maybe Kentucky. Maybe South Carolina.
  17. I think Campbell probably missed the boat on getting out - felt like he was the hot name 2-3 years ago. Not saying he still isn’t a great coach, but almost feels like he won’t get a bigger job at this point in his career.
  18. Agree. Did you see the Bama gym? It looks like they were playing on a high school gymnasium. SMU has a nice facility.
  19. And yet you'll still get people that complain about Gregory where Texas plays. Compared to many other schools, Gregory is a huge upgrade. It needs some improvement, but hard to compete with the atmosphere.
  20. They've put lots of guys in the NFL under his term. They are annually a top 25 team. They beat Iowa and beat ranked teams from time-to-time. I like the way their staff coaches and I like their culture...even if it did ruffle our feathers (the truth hurts sometimes). What does whether or not he stays at ISU or whether or not he receives/accepts an offer from other schools have to do with me disagreeing with you calling him a jag?
  21. Never been impressed with him... Seems there is a reason no big program has hired him... I just do not buy he wants to stay at ISU...
  22. That's another one that could've gone Texas' way.
