I hope you don't mind me asking silly questions. When I go to the athletic department's website, I find 17 sports. Are T&F and cross country two separate sports? Are swimming & diving two separate sports? They are listed as one, but that would make 21. Which two sports are not part of the top 19 for Texas? T&F? Cross country?

The Big XII, under the leadership of the great Yormark, should reply "Bring It." By so doing, they would force the Tech administration to even more prominently establish their position standing alone against the traditional ethics and practices of college sports. Disgraceful.

Stanford supports about 35 varsity sports Texas only 21. Five sports are required women’s soccer, both women’s and men’s basketball, men’s baseball and women’s softball. The score is decided by the top 19 varsity sports from each school. Texas score 0 in soccer but Stanford scored 0 in both men’s and women’s basketball and baseball.

Tim was a really great player. The reason 1978 wasn’t mentioned in his bio was he suffered a massive leg injury (can’t remember if he broke or if it was a knee) the home opener of the season so he got an injury redshirt. RIP
