  1. Past hour
  2. Unless Texas comes all the way from behind up until announcement day. Texas will do everything they can to win it, to be clear.
  3. Texas got Richard Wesley at the least, not expecting Texas to get Trenton.
  4. Pensacola (Fla.) Catholic 5-star EDGE Trenton Henderson is down to three schools ahead of decision that is expected around July 2. It's Florida, Texas and LSU. The feeling on the 40 Sunday is that it's a Gators vs. Longhorns decision. But we shall see. Florida has had the most confidence in recent weeks.
  5. Can we get like a commit since you ditched us this weekend? Wesley doesn’t count.
  6. I think it’s Sengun, followed by Thompson. I just don’t think asking 37-year-old Kevin Durant to play more than 35 minutes per game is good for him or the Rockets. I could be wrong, but managing Durant’s minutes so that he’s got gas in the tank for high-leverage possessions in the playoffs is far more important than letting him continue to be what he’s been (36.5 MPG and 26.6 PPG last season in 62 games) and hoping he holds up.
  7. Some of you guys are aholes. We need help at SS and Schloss wanted him. Not a power hitter but he hit 330, had 11 doubles, 2 triples, one HR and 6 sacrifice flies. You live and die in the portal when you get commitments from top shortstops in the country that get drafted as a top 10-15 overall MLB draft pick. They rarely make it to campus. In 2024 Bryce Rainer (SS) was selected 11th overall. This year our infield commitments are SS Kayson Cunningham (projected top 10-15 MLB draft pick) and 3B Gavin Fien (projected top 20 to 25 overall).
  8. Jeff was a damn fine addition to a great crew.
  9. Uhmm, who do you think will be the #1 offensive option on the rockets over Kevin Durant? I'm sorry but Ray Allen on the heat is not a great comparison. Maybe more like Shaq when he went to Miami.
  10. I’m ready for a change. I like the get. He will be solid.
  11. That's fair. I'm far more concerned with Texas having a competent glove at shortstop than I am with recruiting a bat to play there.
  12. That's the way things are trending. From what I've gathered, he needs to take advantage of what little stock he has left.
  13. Ken was a gentle giant off the field and strong! He straight arm lifted me over a waist high wall into a bar/club on 5th street and I weighed 210 lbs at the time. Good guy
  14. He was bad down the stretch, but it doesn’t bode well that they’re bringing in Temu Flores to replace him.
  15. I believe so to save face because he's actually pretty bad.
  16. Jalen Flores going pro? I guess I’m behind
  17. He looks like he is 36 years old, bad pic ?
  18. Today
  19. Good to know, I'll pass it along to Bobby!
  20. It’s ok to admit the realism that Texas did not have a SS on the roster. Now they do. Is he going to be All-SEC? Probably not. But does he provide much-needed depth? Yes.
  21. Why even have message boards with discussion?
  22. Especially considering the dude was a backup plan
  23. Jeff Howe held down the fort quite well. You should have him on more often.
