  1. Past hour
  2. @CJ Vogel @Jeff Howe @Gerry Hamilton Could one of yall try to get an explanation on why not a single punt was fielded and we kept allowing their punt unit to get 10-20 yards of extra field position?
  3. I completely agree, General. After watching the film breakdown of Arch’s game, his mechanics were poor, and he made several bad reads, particularly early on. He did show improvement as the game progressed.
  4. Sark never “sold himself” as anything remotely close to that. Get out of here with that BS.
  5. I wonder how long Peyton’s voicemails were last night/today.
  6. Nah....he's not that type of receiver IMO.
  7. Option 1 : Condense the formations and play old school Alabama run football. Make the defense dictate what they half to do and utilize our receivers in the outside without our QB having to read against 7 to 8 defenders. We recruited big receivers so use them. Run it up their ass and throw it to our studs without our QB having to do math every play. Once he’s ready, open it up more. Until then, play old school and do what you got to do to win. Option 2: run the exact offense he would with Quinn.
  8. I agree…I wasn’t overly impressed with the speed/game breaking ability of our offense. I wish we would go break the bank for Jalen Lott because he is the type of prospect we are missing.
  9. The problem is our offense doesnt look or feel explosive. Tommy Castleanos looked like he was shot outta a cannon in his game against Bama. The Miami players all look electric in this game against ND. We may have some players who can run fast 40 times, but it doesnt seem like they show up in big games against UGA. If I was a 5 star receiver I just dont know if I would pick Texas.
  10. Yep. Sark slow played the game…for too long.
  11. A bit premature on all this doom and gloom. Let’s revisit after Oklahoma. That gives us 3 cupcakes, 1 road test and 1 neutral site rivalry game to see where Arch is at. The two best teams in the country may have just played each other yesterday and I think Arch will get better.
  12. He’s always done that thing with his shoulders. Watch his debut vs tech
  13. Quinn regresses over the course of his time here and it seems like Arch has regressed as well but too early to tell and I'll let the season play out for him. Could be something with coaching, could be nothing.
  14. Texas has one of the fastest teams in the country. We have at least 6-7 skill players on offense that will run sub 4.5 when they eventually hit the combine over the next 2-3 draft cycles
  15. Agree, we have no one that can what Blue did on this run.
  16. That is obviously false. The throw to endries on the sideline was very well feathered. Many of the passes he did poorly with he has done perfectly fine with in the past. He does need work controlling his velocity.
  17. …and Quinn couldn’t rip it, but feathered it well. Give Arch time to get his touch down when facing pressure.
  18. Brooks Austin “the Film Guy” said he had a pro scout tell him that Arch can’t “feather” the ball. Everything is ripped on a rope. Wouldn’t have ever expected that from a seasoned QB “prodigy” who has been groomed his whole life but so far the tape doesn’t lie.
  19. I’m still baffled by Arch’s inaccuracy on easy throws yesterday. Would be shocking for any 3rd year 5 star but even moreso one with his last name. Question is this were there any signs of this in his starts last year? I don’t remember noticing errant throws like that, but I haven’t gone back and looked. Maybe one of you could do a breakdown this week? Would love to know if this is an ongoing issue or first road start jitters or something. Thanks for considering!
  20. Today
  21. Sorry if already posted. Just got back from Columbus earlier today and rewatched the game. I read other posts about a possible shoulder injury, but on more than one occasion Manning kept rotating both shoulders as if his pads were bothering him. He did it again on the final drive when he threw it short to Endries’ feet on 2nd down. Damn I’m pissed if his inaccuracy was in part due to an equipment f’up. Smh
  22. Our defense played pretty damn well.
  23. Sark needs to recruit a big boy every year
  24. ………….Cody Johnson.🤘
  25. I’ll say this about Arch. I don’t care who your family is, what you’ve been through or anything. there’s no way he hasn’t heard all of the hype and pressure and to be a real first time starter with 1,000 times the normal pressure a QB faces for a first start I’m sure he was gripping f that ball tight Analysts are literally apologizing for how much they talked about him and hyped him up. Never seen that before.
