  1. Past hour
  2. There hasn’t been any elite talent in the portal at OL. The two Michigan guys were very good. This is the first elite OL in the portal. Texas is definitely a premier spot but so are multiple other places. Oregon is elite. Ohio State is elite etc etc
  3. PFF numbers reflect him to be a poor run blocker. Let’s say he’s Kelvin Banks level pass protector. But poor in the run game. Are fans going to whimper and whine when we can’t run the ball in those big games?
  4. Would you root for Landry and Staubach or Sirianni and Brown?
  5. Don't like evil. Includes criminal sooners and eagles.
  6. Great article @Jeff Howe I'm truly excited about his contested catch ability. He was fun to watch at Auburn. Defense in the SEC is no joke and the conference is loaded with good DBs. Having a WR that will snag contested balls with high percentage wins is a big deal for Arch.
  7. So do the remnants in the portal come at a discounted price?
  8. How about Aaron Benson? Granted he wasn’t a Longhorn Legend but he was gunned down along with a woman and her child. Pretty awful.
  9. You must be a Cowboys fan lol
  10. Are we sure Baker would be good at guard? I’m not convinced. If I’m Baker and we land Seaton I would look at the portal. That’s another consideration. I would still do it but that is just a scenario to consider.
  11. If we were willing to pay Sprague $1.5M, what’s another mil for a considerably better player?
  12. Tuesday AM Colorado offensive tackle Jordan Seaton announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal yesterday. Texas is expected to be among those who pursue him. But Texas can not do that quite yet because he is not *officially* in the portal. Colorado has up to two days to negotiate with Seaton before putting his name into the portal. Why do those two days matter? As we’ve come to see during this portal cycle, teams often don’t let their best players just walk. I’m not only talking about the Michigan OL duo or Florida edge Jayden Woods. Case in point: Ole Miss OL Delano Townsend who announced this morning his return to the Rebels. So before folks start rejoicing about Seaton or anyone announcing an entrance to the portal, we need to stop and take a breath. There’s one more hurdle left. But if that hurdle is cleared… ** Former Texas receiver DeAndre Moore is expected to decide between Kentucky and Colorado today, according to a source close to Moore. Colorado has the more lucrative offer on the table and Brennan Marion, the former Texas receivers coach, is now the OC for the Buffs. ** Oklahoma State defensive end Wendell Gregory has committed to Kansas State. Gregory visited Texas late last week. Linebacker Cade Uluave signed with BYU. ** With four days left, there could still be more elite players enter the portal.
  13. Ole Miss OL Delano Townsend announces his return to Ole Miss.
  14. Eagles fans are the biggest scumbags in the history of the world. They deserve to lose every game from now until the end of time.
  15. Really agree with this part. We still did really good in the portal but clearly it's a lesson for next year imo. We clearly tried to get the Michigan OLs to come to us, among other players at other positions, and it didn't work at all.
  16. Get him a lifted chevy, a hunting license, a house and some land. Oh and throw in some Natty lite and he's ours boys!
  17. I do, they know more than any of us ever will. The mods know a ton too, they are the between fans and staff essentially. That is just why I believe there is a reason it was emphasized about Seaton. Especially after they said the Ole Miss guard had to show up in the portal (resigned today) and Brunner is staying in the midwest. I think if he shows up in the portal we are swinging for the fences because the lure the player in the portal method has not worked.
  18. I agree but there could be more people entering… trust the staff 🤘🏻
  19. Today
  20. Good morning 🤘🏻Let’s have a day #Allin
  21. He is out. Brunner is not leaving the midwest. We offered Sprague 1.5 million and he said no. Go get Seaton for the said price and move Baker inside. There is not really another high level option so far.
  22. Not that wild, even Texas had Zina, Black and Wlliams come back... just a tactic that players now use to force a decision for their team
  23. Hey you're right... But we get seaton we better at the very least make the NC. No excuses. Also I'm pretty sure all the money that Arch didn't try to squeeze out of Texas is already gone to Coleman lol... It's just a lot of damn money at a spot (tackle) where we're really doing pretty good. Even if I get the whole argument about moving baker to RG...
  24. he could be a top 15 pick…… lol it ain’t our money! ALL IN. remember? you don’t go all in to save a bit! arch gave us the money to do this kinda stuff !
