The only one who did seems to be Kirby Smart, imo.

Hey where's Hashtag, it feels like he should be here talking his ish. Remember when everyone pretty much ran him off for saying this exact stuff last year?

I'm not giving him credit for developing Banks. That dude was going to be a stud no matter where he went. Williams was an okay development. He did okay with Christian Jones. I'll give some credit for Goosby but he has his issues and Siani has been getting worse each week. Baker on the inside doesn't seem like he's adjusted well, Sikorski is okay but has slow feet but he doesn't get pushed back a ton. Robertson is okayish, not strong enough, gets pushed back more than Majors did. Campbell was okay, too. Had a mean streak but never really seemed to hit his stride. Huston was okay but never really seemed to develop past his Fr year, for whatever reason. Umeozulu, I've no idea what happened with that dude. Stroh was a disaster but I don't think it was the young man's fault. Chapman, I think you mean Chatman? Haven't really seen dude outside of the spring stuff. Cruz was the supposed air apparent at C and he hasn't seen much playing time at NC State, I believe. Kibble is the starting LG for Baylor. Nick Brooks was disappointing but got put in a terrible situation. Had never played G and Flood just threw him in there and he looked terrible (understandably). I think he's second string RT at Bama? Merill and Karic were Herman hold overs.

Sark needs this kind of Augie intensity
AusMOJO replied to Roy Hinojosa's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Sark only gets like this when CJ asks him a question. -
I like Traylor, but they're not going to spend all that money buying out Sark and his coaching staff to go hire a G6 HC. I like Matt Rhule but I'm not sure he would be on the list either. Chesney I actually like, I believe he came from JMU and is having a good amount of success at UCLA. It's hard to decide who to hire, I'm sure CDC and the people around him have a short list. Right now all we can do is hope by some miracle Sark figures it out and they go on some 6-0 run and make the playoffs and make a run there. Right now I'm struggling to see it.
-
Sark is sounding like Shaka 2.0 lol. Maybe that's an unfair comparison. But the fact that personnel has changed and the problems persist. From year to year, that should tell us who the problem is. All off-season what did we hear non-stop "we needed the change at DC to be more physical and aggressive"...."we're going to be a more physical team"..blah, blah, blah. Yet Will Stein first year HC with a team he put together from the portal, is way more physical at the LoS than we are. He plays to his players strengths and schemes things up well. Now this isn't a "hire Will Stein" post, just that if a first year HC has it more figured out than you after 3 years in the SEC and 6 years at the helm of a blue blood program. What the heck are you doing? You wanted all these "big human's" and they look like they couldn't push a 90 year old grandma out of the way.

I've noticed this. Sark's scripts look great and to Rod B's point, he doesn't seem to adjust very well. So it kind of explains why the team looks great to start a game and then in between they look completely lost. Like he's just throwing play calls out there. As for Arch, I thought he'd maybe go the LSU route, team up with Kiffin. He's a lot of things but he can develop QB's and has a QB friendly offense.

OL comes back to scheme and ultimately Sark. Everything wrong circles back to Sark. It's that simple really. Arch's regression from 2024 to 2026 is crazy. How he has kept the same offensive coaches outside of RB for several years now and still the same results. But good thing we got rid of PK so he can focus on the O now....
-
Just last year he would've easily pulled this and ran for the TD. This year apparently he can't do a basic RPO. I really do wonder what Sark is saying to him before each play or doing with him in practice. Because none of this makes sense to me. He looked different in 2024 compared to 2025 and now he looks worse in 2026 than he did in 2025.

Kyle Flood must have some serious dirt on the higher-ups.

Sark needs this kind of Augie intensity

I don’t think this is accurate. Sark seems to always be on simmer. He’s intelligent so he knows how to channel. Yelling isn’t intensity and sark absolutely doesn’t lack intensity. It’s unlikely arch is in his head this badly if sark were a mellow, laid back coach. I think missing last summer impacted the culture much more than we realized. I think sark is confounded right now by arch’s play. No one saw this regression happening. I’m in the minority but his head got belted badly twice earlier this year after the physical beat down year. Something is off with him. his play change after the helmet to helmet against utsa. I hope it’s the yips and not something physical for him. I’d sit him this week to so that he can observe the game. -

I love the time Augie asked the team if they had ever been in a fight? Man he went off that time to. I met him once and we sat down and talked about growing up in California. He grew up in a tough part of Stockton. -

Vince Lombardi once had is O-line with rapt attention for 6 hours while he described and explained the same freaking play! 😆 -
Oh hell no!

He would say, "A'ight, listen. It's time to make a quarterback change. Miss Terry thinks you are too stubborn man A'ight. Now just makes the decision and hell with it. A'ight."

The biggest head coaching malpractice is Sark allowing an Oline coach to think Cole Hutson was a good enough center last spring to start last season. That was a disaster. Outside of some of the OSU game, at no point last year with Hutson at center were we any good. So to avoid calamity, we swapped our backup center (Robertson) to salvage what we could from the second half of the season as a band aid. I have to question a coach that would even think that was even close to the level we needed to be a contender. That's the first fireable offense in my opinion since we wasted a great defense last year too because of that lapse in judgement. The second offense is thinking this backup caliber center was good enough to run it back again this year and go against a full season of SEC DTs. Surely a good coach would have spent the money and gotten a top tier center knowing we barely got out of last year without disaster with a backup level center. I don't know what Flood expects from Robertson who is a bit undersized and not strong enough. He's done an admirable job but everyone could have told you that he would get ragdolled as a starter the whole season. Where is the "standard" Sark talks about all the time? The "standard" surely isn't having a backup caliber center as your starting center and just getting by right? And the funny thing on top of that is we still run mostly inside zone even with Robertson getting pushed back 2-3 yards on many plays.

proof is in the puddin. O line is ass

He didn't develop Sykorski. I didn't include any people we grabbed out of the portal that was developed elsewhere for the most part.

Even though we lost, it was the best we've looked in a several games. The young players are getting more experience and starting to improve some. Florida is a tough team and if a couple points go different we would have beaten them. Biggest thing is Andersen needs to work on her passing. Teams are targeting her on serves, but Gugina and Andersen are starting to get more comfortable hitting. Spears is still just a cannon. She's still needs to improve her ability to hit off hands and hit a cut. She pretty much just hits straight and hard which doesn't work against the good blocking teams.
