  1. Past hour
  2. Exchanged messages with the 4-star RB's father this morning to get his thoughts on the visit. "It went really good," he told OTF. "We had a great conversation with Coach Juluke. Also took a tour of campus. Also it was good seeing the kids practice. "(Texas has) always been at the top of his list. They just reinforced it." Whisenton will OV Texas June 12-14.
  3. My 11u team throws more strikes. That was so bad
  4. It got deleted while editing, but you are right. I should be better about spelling, that’s on me.
  5. Either wrapped or some sort of sleeve or sock imo.
  6. Today
  7. Think you forgot a word after “confidently”. Maybe don’t be so quick to call out someone else’s grammar & spelling. We all make mistakes.
  8. Pitching did not hold up, but we also struck out 18 times.

  10. Great Q ... he's in the next tier after until he ascends a little more (which he will at LSU IMO), and actually coaches a team deep into the CFP
  11. Have not. But he reminds me of the guard at Navy right now from The Woodlands area in Texas
  12. Mainly the 80's Phi Slamma Jamma era, but it surely died with Carmelo Anthony in the Final 4 in 2003. I've never been the same after that.
  13. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DV14Wg2jxG0/?igsh=MTZpc2FyNmM0b3Fwbg== Huey Blalock out of rabun county (Gunner Stockton high school) committed to navy
  14. TJ Ford and the run to our only Final Four is it for me and Texas basketball. On the other end of the spectrum, the loss to Arizona in the tournament years later was a major moment of disappointment that sticks out.
  15. Gerry -- Where on the list would you have placed Curt Cignetti prior to the '25-'26 season? After Coach Sark wins the '26-'27 Natty, where would you expect to place him?! Hook 'Em!
  16. Thanks again for the reference to Sonny Alvarado... The player from Roseburg, Oregon was Rich Parson, a 6'7" Center who averaged 5.6 pts and 5.5 rebs in '74-'75 when the team went 10-15 under Leon Black and was the final team to play their home games in Gregory Gym. Also on that team was the lefty Forward Ed Johnson, who I remembered because he played his high school basketball at the same school in Fort Worth my mother had attended back in the 1940s. Hook 'Em!
  17. Thanks! I wasn't sure about his last name, but I definitely remembered his tattoos...he was a leading edge trendsetter because he was inked just before the trend began where tattoos were popular on basketball players again after being largely absent for years. Hook 'Em!
  18. 2 years but most of same guys/core and if I'm not wrong some JMU came over w him as well... Going off top of my head so could be wrong. And definitely not saying he isn't a top coach, just not sure he should launch to top of the list just yet... Let's see what he does this year after losing a bunch... 🤘
  19. Especially if we blow the lead more often than he’s able to throw a CG.
  20. Volantis as a 5 inning guy is not worth the trade off from closer.
  21. First bit of adversity tonight and they lost. Top 3 arms out of the pen choked. Schloss better channel some Augie vibes in that locker room.
  22. I still have confidence in our team. We have to figure out who can come in and throw strikes down the stretch. I think Lefew needs to be moved to closer and let someone else be the middle relief. He’s the only one who comes in and shuts it down.
