Agree, would like to see data on all their games vs other crews. That sample size would be a better analysis. Do they just generally call more penalties vs everyone or is there a tilt vs Texas.

While Texas plays undisciplined at times...when there is a huge disparity it should be questioned. Watch a UGA game and see how many freebies Kirby gets. Gautreaux before and after games...

Good stuff Amanda. You would think winning 3 of 4 quarters would get the job done. Problem is Texas 1 and 2 quarters is better but the 3rd they are getting outplayed by a lot not a little bit. The 4th we are marginally better. With that being said I dont know if its so much adjustments as it is the Longhorns not establishing the LOS or the run or pass game. It almost looks like sleep walking and we will worry about it in 15 min when its close again. 4 quaters of play has been an issie for Texas for awhile. Last 5 years Texas has led wire to wire against P4 programs 7 times. That includes the B12 years. 60 games. I love my Longhorns but they lack the killer instinct that other dominant programs have. Would love to see this change.

We do not have the talent to win it all. I do not believe there's any chance this team can get hot enough to make it out of the Elite Eight against a regional host. I don't think they're making it out of the Sweet Sixteen. They'll likely be going against a #2 seed on a neutral court. And that's only if they're not facing the regional host in the Sweet Sixteen. Which will be a loss. Georgia is not that good. They have a decent record, but they're about to get smacked around because all of their toughest conference foes are at the end of the conference slate. This match tells us very little about how this team will fare against talented clubs. If we manage to beat A&M on Sunday that would be more of an accomplishment, but A&M has had struggles this year, too. We almost beat Florida. That was a good sign. Personally I still think it was a mistake to move away from Swindle running the 5-1, but it is what it is. Not using Kujundzic as a server is a move in the right direction. I don't think Henderson or Harris's serves are amazing right now, but they're landing in the court. There's a lot more upside there. It looks like they're trying to rest Spears' wrist. She's not serving and with the 6-2 she gets subbed out by the setter while Gaido moves to the front row, so she's only playing 3 rotations. Honestly, as much as anything, serving is the key to a deep run. But serving well against crappy opponents doesn't tell us much. That libero for Georgia might have been the worst libero we faced all year. Same with their combination of setters. They're just not very good. Still glad we dominated them so much. First back to back sweeps all year long. That's incredible for a Texas team.
