He picks the Vandy game but ignores the Texas and bama games against ou which is definitely tilted in Texas favor.

He was explicitly talking about CFP rankings. CFP rankings don’t exist until November. Florida was ranked in the AP poll at one point too. The committee meets for the first time in October to talk about the first 8 games and DOESN’T rank teams until November.
