Tom Herman, to be fair, was EVERY blue blood’s dream coach. He unfortunately turned out to be completely unqualified, spineless, immoral, and arrogant once he got a job at the Texas level.

Patterson was a hatchet man and was the tool to end all tools. He single handedly set Texas athletics back a decade treat the fans and UT faculty/staff like trash.

I've always believed that to be the crux of it. There's at least a kernel of truth there.

When one door closes, another opens. I would've liked to have landed on the OTF team under different circumstances, but I'm thankful every day that I'm here and that I get to be a part of what we're building. I love the community and the support we've received. Without you, there is no us.

It would be nice to have a comprehensive breakdown on what went wrong with the end of Mack Brown's tenure and the subsequent sh*t show that followed. Whenever something is brought up like not going after certain QBs like Hurts, Luck, Barrett and I can go on, the curtain opens just enough but then abruptly closes. How did Texas get it so wrong for so long? With the hiring of Patterson to Charlie Strong to Tom Herman, things were bad. Hell, Chris Warren the other day on X was saying he was surprised they won any game in 2017 because how dysfunctional things were behind the scenes. That's crazy 😬

Yall are truly the best in the business, there is no question. What this community provides for Texas fans, is top notch and is matched nowhere else. Hats off to each of you for your hard work, as all the recognition and accolades are well deserved. Best team in the game! 🔥
