  1. Past hour
  2. I wish someone would give us a timeline for their return. I miss Bri out there. And we can use Aliyah's firepower. However, her absence has helped Justice Carlton to come on big time. Justice is a load. She is strong and hard to guard.
  3. It's flawed logic and lazy group think dynamics combined with massive conflicts of interest and a legion of media muppets who willingly do the committees bidding.
  4. A live, nationally televised debate with moderators, committee representatives, and a challenger panel before the playoff selections are finalized is necessary for maintaining the integrity of the sport. No more excuses, no more unchallenged gaslighting. Right now, the criteria seem to shift depending on which team they want to justify. One week it’s strength of schedule, the next it’s losses, the next it’s the “eye test,” and sometimes it doesn’t seem to matter at all. Everyone watching can see it. In a sport where difficulty of schedules vary so widely, falling back on simple loss count without considering overall résumé just doesn’t cut it. No more letting the committee hide behind vague talking points and the Muppets in the media who echo them. A panel of moderators could include a respected CFB journalist, a former coach or athletic director, and someone who understands the data — alongside a couple of committee representatives and a challenger panel of analysts, former players, and stats experts. Start with brief statements, then dive into real questions: Why does it seem strength of schedule and head to head criteria are not being honored? How does the committee weigh a team’s number of losses against the fact that schedules vary widely in difficulty? How do they take into account the wear and tear of a tough in‑conference and non‑conference schedule, and how that compounds and impacts a team over the course of a season? Other than a one loss differential, how do they justify ranking a team like Miami, which has faced only one top‑25 opponent all year, above Texas, which played the most difficult schedule of any team still in playoff contention? Or how can they explain putting Notre Dame ahead of Miami when both have the same record, ND also played a weak schedule and Miami won the head-to-head matchup? Moreover, what is the actual priority order of the criteria they claim to use? The committee should be made to walk through a few of the most questionable ranking decisions step by step, and both sides should be able to make their case under cross-examination. We’re not arguing that an 8‑4 or 7‑5 team should be included; we understand that losses matter. But it would be naive to overlook the committee’s inconsistencies and obvious preference for win-loss records over their stated criteria. This isn’t about getting Texas into the playoffs — it’s about halting the steady decline of the sports integrity. Previous failures don't justify continuing to turn a blind eye - this committee must be held accountable.
  5. Today
  6. Oregon keeps piling up 5 star WRs while that last WR that got drafted in the first round from Oregon was back in 1972. Steven got stuffed in a locker again by Oregon, this time even by a legacy recruit. Our problem with these guys is not the NIL we offer. If I had to guess it’s either Texas telling them that we’re not guaranteeing play time or these 5 star WR don’t like seeing Texas go out in the portal every year to get guys instead of playing the ones we have on roster. Or maybe they just don’t like our WR coach. I don’t know why but there SHOULDN’T be any reason to not get one of these elite type of guys once every 2 years.
  7. we missed the playoff, who cares about the end of season rankings? A win over Michigan is a win over Michigan.
  8. WBB is just a championship level team. Beat whomever is in front of you. Next? Injuries are going to happen and other things may derail your season, but this team reminds me of the 2008 and 2009 football team. When you have a good team, they win.
  9. The problem isn’t winning the game. The problem is Texas gets no credit if we win and won’t move up rankings or anything. We would if we played and beat ND or Miami
  10. Michigan hasn’t come within 11 pts of any ranked team they’ve played. I’d put my life on Texas -3.
  11. That's a messed up locker room if they voted not to play another game.
  12. Has Samples ever even coached? Just recall him as "recruiting coordinator"?
  13. Could tweak it a bit, but makes way more sense than the current format
  14. For the additional practices alone, it makes sense to play a bowl game
  15. Seems like you have some keen insight, throw it all on Texas -3. 💰💰💰💰💰
  16. Sark really sandbagged the statistical models by spending 10 games stubbornly trying to be a power running play action team with Connor Stroh and Nick Brooks at guard and CJ Baxter at RB 😭
  17. No worries. I’m just in a good mood and couldn’t resist the dad joke.
  18. According to statistical models, Texas would only be favored by 3 pts vs. Michigan on a neutral field.
  19. I meant like…teenagers are good at sleeping. Just joking dude.
  20. If you have an injury like he did it's a whole new conversation my friend. Same for CJ Baxter even if he produces extremely well collegiately before the draft he's nobody somebody will trade up for. High risk high reward when you deal with big injuries.
  21. I bet Burke plays. The more positive game tape he puts out the better.
  22. Aren’t all teenagers pro sleepers?
  23. As if the Texas AG knows anything about law. He didn't instruct anyone to do anything, he just opined from his political office.
  24. As Steve Spurrier would put it "You can't spell Citrus without U-T"
  25. The players that would definitely not play- Anthony Hill, Malik Muhammad, maybe Ethan Burke?
  26. I wouldn't touch that kid. Might be a pro sleeper but nah.
