They’re strong in the trenches and lagway is a deep ball nightmare. That’ll keep us in an honest box and they have very good, maybe great backs at what they do. Their secondary was decimated by injuries last year and ours lost 2 NFL picks. Too many unknowns for all this 16-0 nonsense. Our line also hasn’t proven anything and is very inexperienced in meaningful snaps. We might turn out to be great but we have a lot of unproven at key spots. Florida is a dark horse if lagway stays healthy.

Yep, he is not like Sproles at all. Sproles is in my mind the most underrated back ever. He was a poor man's Barry Sanders. If Blue finally is in a good place mentally he can have a real impact for the Cowboys. His speed is rare.

Checking in to ask my OTF family.. where are we in our dynasties with Texas on the new edition of EA Sports College Football '26? I already have 2 5 stars signed in my 1st class and we're 5-0! Blew out Ohio State 38-14... and have given up a total of 22 points in the last 3 games.. including a 38-6 massacre of the Gators in the Swamp! It's Red River Rivalry Week for me.... so you know it UP!!! This game does nothing but make the anticipation of the season almost unbearable! 🤣🤣🤘🏿

Texas is already using Florida as motivation in the offseason. This game won’t be overlooked I guarantee it.

Barring injury to Arch, we are going undefeated. Our defense is too good.

Lagway is great, but he isn't single handily beating Texas. I think our D is too good for him to handle on his own. Now they have a really good RB, too, so that might help some. Guess we'll find out when the time comes.

This one is circled on my schedule as a tough out. If we get past OSU, we will have some serious momentum going into the Swamp, but my fear is that we're looking ahead to 0u and we beat the snot out of them last year. Best case scenario, Florida comes in undefeated and we take the game as seriously as possible. If Lagway is healthy, they will be legit. Florida has Miami the week before us and Lil Bro the week after, so I doubt they'll be looking ahead, but Miami could be a trap game for them. Hoping we're both undefeated when we meet and we remain so after the game.

I like Flood and Sarks approach each line has its own identity-these guys now seem to have more nasty to them.

The Swamp is cool, but it's no Horseshoe. If we win at Ohio State, we aren't losing at Florida (barring injuries). Lagway has to stay healthy as well. Doesn't seem likely.
