  1. Past hour
  2. Muschamp: “You create havoc when you get hands on the ball.”
  3. Whenever they show the players running in groups, there is one guy 10 yards ahead of everyone else.
  4. Muschamp: “You win in bump-and-run on the line of scrimmage.”
  5. We’ll see. Hands need to be more consistent from the spring.
  6. Muschamp’s clinic tape of defensive backs high pointing the football on the jugs machine includes Jermaine Bishop working with the secondary.
  7. Muschamp says recruiting the state of Texas is somewhat tricky due to players receiving such great coaching in school, lifting since 7th grade. The question when recruiting the state of Texas is how much better can they potentially be when they get to UT.
  8. Muschamp admits something I’ve long expected: He loves defensive backs who played quarterback in high school. That position requires leadership, communication and decision making.
  9. Can he catch & score touchdowns with that speed at the college level is the real question
  10. Muschamp just described Earl Thomas as “one of the best I’ve ever coached” due to his instincts.
  11. Those who’ve been clamoring for tighter, more aggressive coverage from the Texas defensive backs, Muschamp is bringing that approach to the table.
  12. When Muschamp was at Auburn in 2015 under Gus Malzahn, every defensive back that came through the program spent time in the NFL.
  13. Muschamp on scheme: “I’ve already got my fall install done.”
  14. Standing room only for Will Muschamp.
  15. We’re not allowed to record during the lectures.
  16. Will Muschamp’s chalk talk was scheduled to start at 1. They’re having technical difficulties. The Texas State staff is here listening. I’ve also seen at least one Texas A&M staff member in here.
  17. That won’t last long IF we can keep easton royal committed
  18. Don’t care about the MPH crap. Who gets from point A to point B the fastest.
  19. Reporting live from Hattricks in Tampa, preparing for SEC Media Days this week. Wanted to share this nugget which builds off of @Bobby Burton report from last week. The topic of who was the fastest player on the Texas offense for the upcoming season was brought up. I was expecting a drawn out thought process given some of the options available. But the response came relatively quickly. The answer? Freshman WR Kohen Brown.
  20. Today
  21. Kinne said Brad Jackson told him throughout the season and throughout the portal window that he wasn't going anywhere. Jackson is one of the top non-P4 quarterbacks in the country.
  22. As Jeff said, we are listening to Kinne right now. He seems pretty excited about the move to the PAC.
