  1. Past hour
  2. I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but something to keep in mind going into next year. Teams with first round byes are 1-7 with Indiana being the lone winner. The question is, is having a first round bye really that beneficial🤔
  3. I guess I’m rooting for Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl to keep our sole ownership of NY6 wins alive.
  4. You’re right!!! I remember that being mentioned now
  5. It’s funny that A&M complained the last two years that we had an easy schedule when they had one of the weakest schedules in the SEC in 2025. Had we beaten Florida, I think we’d have had a Top 5 SOR. Can only see Indiana, Georgia, Ole Miss, or Ohio State performing better against our schedule and two of those teams were on our schedule.
  6. Today
  7. Yep! Only school to have won every NY6 bowl, accomplished it last year with the Peach bowl win against Arizona State. Great graphic, thanks for sharing
  8. Texas is the only team to win every NYE bowl according to this graphic. If Miami wins, they’ll join us
  9. believe OTF . Bobby doesn’t allow clickbait.
  10. Who suggested Texas had a weak schedule?
  11. Looking at Winsipedia, we've played Texas State once, back in 1930. Texas State was then named Southwest Texas State Teachers College (I did not know the school's original purpose was to train the future public school teachers of Texas). Texas won 36-0, led by Head Coach Clyde Littlefield in his 4th season. Southwest Texas State was led by Oscar W. Strahan in his 12th season. Texas went 8-1-1 (4-1, SWC) and won the Southwest Conference.
  12. OTF said on a stream yesterday (maybe 2 different ones even) that he hasn’t officially entered yet
  13. Perhaps one of the reasons for him leaving is no longer present.
  14. Just a bit outside - I mean, just a bit south. Since I’m from Belton I’ll start telling people I’m just inside the Texas/Louisiana border.
  15. If Texas wants Derek to return I assume the staff thinks he has healed. He still showed signs of being slowed by his injury this season. The talent he flashed as a freshman was evident, of course.
  16. It only matters if you're pasting something from behind their paywall. On3 posted that to Twitter. They made it public.
  17. Remember who recruited him - Gideon 😘
  18. Change it to the PAC State Conference
  19. This is the number of teams Texas, OU and TexasA&M played this year that finished their season in the top 25. (Stats as of 1/2/26). TEX: 6 (4/6 finished the season in the top 10 & made the playoffs. 5/6 finished top 15). Record vs those opponents, 4-2. 10-3 overall. Texas SOS: 8th overall. 5th in SEC (Source ESPN). OU: 4 (2/4 finished the season in the top 10 & made the playoffs. 3/4 finished top 15.) Record vs those opponents, 2-3 (Played Alabama twice). 10-3 overall. Oklahoma SOS: 12th overall. 9th in SEC (Source ESPN) Texas A&M: 3 ( 1/3 finished the season in top 10 & made the playoffs. 3/3 finished top 15). Record vs those opponents, 1-3. 11-2 overall. Texas A&M SOS: 17 overall. 12th in SEC (Source ESPN) 🤘🏼HOOK’EM 🤘🏼
  20. texas and ole miss the only 2 SEC teams to win interconference. Bad yo
  21. MissSt freshman QB just went down with less than 2 minutes left. Tried to scramble for the 1st down. Swear, looked like his leg was broken or a knee but he got hit and bent in the wrong direction. Put on the cart without a brace or air cast so assuming a ligament tear.
  22. i think at least 1 more coach will be hired on the defensive side. Nansen is still uncertain. Offense seems to be set.
  23. Are we expecting anymore coaching changes on the longhorns staff?
  24. That's what I heard during his rightful rant about agents and unreasonable NIL demands during the Citrus Bowl HC presser.
  25. Most insightful post in a while. Thx and post more please.
  26. Thanks for this perspective!
