The talent is wild now. Back in Cheryl Miller’s day, nobody had to deal with Vic Schaefer’s defense breathing down their neck for 40 minutes. 😀

Coach Vic has had a great run since being here and I don't see that train slowing down. It's just that there are so many great teams out there nowadays. The talent at the high school and Euro level is really getting good too. These are not the same players that Cheryl Miller dominated.

Will be an interesting NCAA eligibility decision. Warren entered the NBA draft...thus declaring his intentions to be a pro but went undrafted & has played in the G league 3 years. Doesn't pass the sniff test. Other G leaguers have already played in the NCAA's but none declared for the NBA draft...correct?

Every room ranked above it has an all-conference player or Arch Manning. Does Texas have an all-conference level cornerback? Perhaps. I think Mascoe is very close. But I am not going to predict that group being a tremendous strength of this defense just yet.

Think so. Encouraged more leans towards being in a bit better spot post spring than when it began.

I would argue going from .45 to 5.56 would be upgrading more than reloading, way more powerful.
