  8. Unfortunately this is going to be a long year as far as political ads go.
  9. I have not seen any political ads on OTF or coffee & football.
  10. Yep. I think his high school coach took the Purdue job and convinced him to drop Texas, something like that ... He was here in Arizona for a while, a 2nd round draft pick by the Cards, but never quite got over the hump. RIP
  11. I see those ads as well Bobby, but once I switched to premium YouTube (No commercials or ads) they went away--
  12. A couple of folks have sent me DMs about political ads on our videos and/or podcasts. On Texas Football has and always will be a place DEVOID of politics. Our purpose here is to be an escape for Longhorns fans to go as deep as they want to about the Longhorns and not politics, etc. That being said, YouTube and others sell political ads all the time. They have to do it equally among all political parties; it’s the law to do so. So pls be aware that you may see various political ads just like you do on your TV set during election season. But that is NOT from us or even us taking direct money from any political party. It is YouTube or the programmatic partner. Here’s to keeping politics out of Texas football! Hook’Em!!!
  13. He was on campus. He had a great interview that showed maturity beyond his age. He had so much more to give to life than just football on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.
  14. I had to Google it to check my memory, but he was committed and flipped to Purdue late in the process
  15. i wonder if it was wind-aided…it was blustery yesterday. still a really good time.
  16. So sad when a 25 year old with his whole life in front of him feels like his life is not worth living. RIP
  17. Awful to hear. RIP Rondale.
  18. Cardale Jones with the greatest Ohio St graduation cap ever.
  19. Yes! My daughter is a UT graduate, Class of 2017, native Texan, and I am visiting her in Los Angeles this weekend. She'll be 31 this Spring and the time really flies. Earlier this evening we both agreed our years at UT living in Austin were the best. JC Dobbs BA 1976 MPA 1978, Texas Exes Life Member. Hook 'Em!
  20. I remember (I think) that he considered the Longhorns and I was hopeful that he would commit to play football at Texas. Very sad situation and is a reminder of how difficult things can seem, and especially having just missed out on the NIL era, as you noted. RIP Rondale Moore
