1. Past hour
2. Thanks @Sarah O!!!
3. The dc was yelling at him because blake was on mute the whole game
4. That brings a smile to my heart. Go Colt!
5. Thanks for the link Dread. For those who don't have a subscription to the New York Times or Athletic here's the money quote -
"So is the face Manning made Saturday simply a habit? Even he wasn’t 100 percent certain. “Yeah, probably so,” Manning said. “I don’t even know.” Well, we do. The Athletic reviewed the TV copy of each of Manning’s 155 career pass attempts at Texas to get to the bottom of Grimace Gate. Here’s what we found. Most TV replays don’t zoom in on the quarterback’s face while he’s throwing. Of Manning’s 155 pass attempts, 73 didn’t even have a replay, either because they were short completions or incomplete passes. Another 51 had replays but did not show an angle where his face could be easily seen. ... [ skip paragraphs explaining why you can only see his facial reaction in a few throws ] So, what about the rest? Does he grimace? Yes. Our review discovered at least 13 instances over the last year in which Manning grimaced, dating all the way to his appearance in relief of Quinn Ewers against UTSA on Sept. 28, 2024. Early in the third quarter against the Roadrunners, Manning made a face that looked almost identical to the one he made last week against San Jose State. The result was a 15-yard completion on a slant to Matthew Golden. [skip other examples, including videos] And there are photos that 247Sports dug up from past Manning throws, even dating to his high school days, that show the grimace. So there you have it. Perhaps this is Arch’s version of “Manning Face,” but there’s no supporting evidence to conclude that he’s dealing with an injury." ---
Personally I'm just glad someone didn't start a thread titled "Is that Arch Manning's orgasm face?" TMI
6. Laugh at the OP. But you never know with Sark. He is usually not forthcoming about injuries. We won't know for sure until next season. At this point, we just assume everything is alright.
7. 48-6 Texas
8. This doesn’t sound good. Hope Dia is OK.
9. 49-13. But this might be a game Sark tries to send a message via the final score.
10. Love this! Go Colt!! 🙏💪
11. 41-13 🤘
12. Hope your recovery from surgery is going well! Just tagged you in Gerry’s latest recruitment post from this morning. ( I think I did it right! lol)
13. Today
14. Gerry and CJ, Curious to get your thoughts on possible visit this fall / potential flip with Kendall Guervill, especially if Florida goes on losing streak over the next month. If it’s already been answered, I’ve been completely disconnected the past couple weeks due to recent surgery. thanks! Hook em!! 🤘🏼🐂🧡
15. Obviously, its on the coaches to keep the talent flowing on both sides of the ball. Brooks was great when healthy but he wasn't the same type of back that Bijan & Roschon were especially in the red zone. Jamaal Charles was one of the best RBs to ever lace them up but I don't believe he'd help our red zone issue the way a Cody Johnson could.
16. So who do we point to for not having comparable talent in the other years? Does Brooks not exist? But that doesn’t explain dropping that drastically. Especially with talent across the board being far greater
17. Great stuff @Blake Munroe we are all rooting for Colt!
18. I don't disagree but we've had some game-changing injuries on the offensive end. How does the '23 team fare vs Washington with a healthy Jonathan Brooks, Xavier Worthy & Keilan Robinson? We beat them and that Michigan team wasn't exactly built to take advantage of our weak link (the secondary). How does last year's game vs Ohio St play out if Texas has a healthy CJ Baxter, Matthew Golden & Isaiah Bond? We probably should've also played Goosby over Williams at RT. Most knew going into that game that the winner of that game was most likely your national champion. We've been excruciatingly close to hoisting NC trophies the last 2 years. Not 2008-09 close but pretty dang close nonetheless.
