They have a lot they can clean up and they are still beating quality teams. Their back row defense will make them a title contender. Improved passing will make them very tough to beat. Elliot has rebuilt another great team.

The sad thing is that he thinks he is a super star, the coaches don't like him, and he is under paid. The truth is that he is not entitled. He is lazy and mentally soft. His commitment is to himself only. The sad truth is that he will probably make more money by switching schools 2 or 3 times. But he will run out of illegibility with no degree, a peek at the League, and a bank account that the leaches have drained. Cynical, yes. But, none-the-less the probable path.

I slept on this after finishing it yesterday and concluded that the one thing you get with inexperienced players is inconsistent play. Even the most talented players I've seen come through the program had points in their careers when you didn't know what you'd get from them from one game to the next. That's the tough thing with an inexperienced team. The ceiling is high for a lot of the pieces Texas has, but it could take a minute for the floor to come up to where the end results aren't so erratic.
