  1. Past hour
  2. Mendoza grounds out to second on McDevitt’s 32nd pitch of the inning. The Longhorns get a run across, but they leave the bases loaded in the third.
  3. Not even kidding when I say that that was the game that made me realize gambling is affecting officiating. They did everything they could to get Vandy caught up. And what do you know? They covered the spread!
  4. A six-pitch walk for Pack loads the bases with two outs for Mendoza. It’s a 30-pitch inning for McDevitt.
  5. Pack doesn’t get the call on what could’ve been called a ball on a 3-1 pitch.
  6. Very interested to see how ABS works in the SEC Tournament.
  7. Tinney works a walk, putting runners on first and second with two outs for Pack, who Schloss said on Wednesday is over his wrist issue, which flared up after doing a workout with a medicine ball in the weight room.
  8. The ump has a crazy strike zone today. Called multiple balls at the shins strikes. Also, Pendergrass should’ve walked 4-0. Crazy strike call in there.
  9. As the saying goes, he’ll forget more than you or I will ever know.
  10. RBI sacrifice fly to left by Robbins scores Larson from third. Robbins does his job and ties the game, 1-1.
  11. @CJ Vogel@Jeff Howe Really appreciate both write ups. CJ, you gave us the sketch & Jeff, you colored it. I never looked at efficiency like this. It's really a team stat. Really need a strong defense to reduce opponents plays & the offense needs to take advantage of possessions. Earlier there was a discussion about which player benefits the most from Muschamp's arrival. Indirectly, it's going to be Arch & the O by getting more possession opportunities.
  12. In OT! The Kentucky and Mississippi State games back-to-back on the road showed the Horns, despite being young, had a spine even if they were imperfect.
  13. Two factors combined to produce this result: 1. Sark searching for chunk plays. 2. PK’s bend but don’t break defensive style. I think that can lead to non-complimentary football and is part of why Sark made the change he did at DC.
  14. I’ve got the radio call going. I could listen to Keith Moreland talk baseball all day.
  15. Pendergrass flies out, but it’s not deep enough to score Larson from third.
  16. If he had a better runner than Larson at third, Schloss might’ve been tempted to go with a safety squeeze.
  17. Borba doubles, putting runners in scoring position for Pendergrass.
  18. Maybe espn should spend some time focusing on the lack of control in the Georgia program before more people lose their lives. Pretty bad that the national media has just ignored that problem.
  19. Larson leads off the bottom of the third with a single.
  20. Ole Miss and Alabama are tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the fourth in Tuscaloosa. That’s a huge series for SEC Tournament seeding and national seed implications.
  21. Make it 13-2 heading to the bottom of the third.
  22. Larson, Borba and Pendergrass are due up for Texas in the bottom of the third.
  23. Volantis bounces back from a two-out walk, getting Ward to ground out to third to end the inning.
  24. Mississippi State is up 11-2 on Texas A&M in the top of the third in College Station.
  25. I watched it. I actually like the show, but it is what it is. He just loses credibility when it shifts from basketball. The mouth of the south seems to be on a let’s put down Texas on everything, because he said they would win it all, and Arch would win the heisman. Paul will switch back at some point. You want quality? Watch inside the NBA. You don’t even have to like sports to like that show. Steven’s reasoning didn’t make sense. He said that Texas had not met expectations last year. He failed to mention the back to back CFP showings and that Texas actually did win ten games last year. In a lot of people’s eyes they did meet expectations. Something he would absolutely acknowledge if Sark was coming on the show. He totally missed the actual point, and that was what do you make of the comments coming from SEC coaches? He felt Sark couldn’t say anything because of last year. He glossed over what Kiffin said with regards to race. It is something that has been said about Mississippi for decades. And it was something Steven agreed with, until Ole Miss invited him to visit last year. Now he has completely switched.
