  1. Past hour
  2. 99% of QBs are bigger than Kyler Murray. 😂 How does the speed compare? I’m willing to bet his 40 time is about 0.3 seconds slower at best.
  3. They’re not walking into the Horseshoe thinking a True Freshman is about to be able to handle that.
  4. I disagree. It DOES make sense. You have to experiment now while you can I see it in real time and incase of emergency.
  5. Evenly matched teams with near identical rosters and situations. We have a freak DE; they have a freak WR Our OL replacing 4; theirs replacing 4 Saiyan is a new qb, however we have struggled with new QB's in the past. (Also, new does not mean terrible) If he is elusive like ASU's QB that can hurt us with their WR's. Good game. 21-17 Or 17-9 Good guys 🤘
  6. Yes, I think that is exactly what it is. Allow your best 5-7 to stay on the field as long as you can regardless of who is injured. Texas did this exactly when Jake Majors and Cam Williams went down against Clemson. Hayden Conner moved in to center, Cole Hutson came in at left guard and Trevor Goosby was plugged in at right tackle. Texas can do exactly that if faced with injuries during the season now.
  7. My personal opinion, and I’m sure this is where I’ll get booted from this forum (which has been awesome by the way), is that Arch isn’t nearly prepared to face a defense like Ohio State as many Texas fans (or national media) believe he is. My opinion is that Julian Sayin will leave 8/30 getting all of the hype that many believed would go to Arch. Just my biased two cents
  8. And what if Nick Brooks rolls his ankle in mop up duty against SHSU? They are just working on contingencies.
  9. You think that's what this is? Moving the starting LG and C to new spots because the starting LT is "hurt for a few days" is "manufacturing depth" to you? Okay then. They have Nick Brooks as a flex Tackle. Omeozulu hasn't taken reps at Tackle in 3 years. Now he's the fill-in LT if Goosby is down for awhile? The only reason this move, right now, makes any sense is because someone is more seriously injured than the staff is letting on to the public. There is no other rationalization that makes any sense and "manufacturing depth" certainly isn't one.
  10. Based on what exactly? The 12 pass attempts Sayin has had in his career to this point? 😂
  11. Yeah for sure. Regardless, a real game against Texas’ defense is a hell of a lot different than practice reps. So even if he has been amazing in camp, doesn’t mean he’ll be amazing on 8/30.
  12. Sayin aint gonna gonna be quick enough Colin , Burke, Trey , Ant , Spencer will have the las Say…. osu running game not goin no where …. Just Sayin Arch is a Generational Qb….. we are up by 17 by half There next Qb in mid 3rd will result in sack … sack … int…. Texas 42 - 12 osu they only score by field goals! Pk will smell bloood , he will unleash total $&@@&? .. there season is over!!!! osu will be toast for the season… no qb … no leader…. Sarks goin for it all ….complete humiliation!
  13. It gives them a chance to tinker with it before it becomes reality. Something has to change if he actually sustains injury during the season.
  14. Manufacturing depth isn't a bad thing. That's what this is.
  15. This is a toss-up at their place. I hope we are as ready as we seem to be. Won't make or break either team's season though but would love the momentum gained by winning this game.
  16. it makes alot of sense. like lets not hurt it more.
  17. This doesn't make much sense if Goosby is really going to be back shortly. It's bizarre.
  18. Sark on Umeozulu today: “When you’ve got a good fastball, you’ve got to throw a good fastball. His calling card is the physicality and the intensity with which he plays the game.”
  19. Bond. Fat fingers and poor eyes.
  20. Ohio St has the edge at WR /TE (vs our DBs) DB (vs our WRs) LB (vs our RBs) Maybe a push now with Baxter possibly back DL (vs our OL) we have the edge at DL (vs their OL) LB (vs their RBs) QB (I just went QB v Qb here)
  21. Someone on another thread yesterday said that it was being reported that Neto has looked “bad” this fall. He’s so bad that they’re giving him a look at left tackle
  22. If Bond has his head on straight then it's a great move for Cleveland. Basically a free draft pick.
  23. As there has been too much orange kool-aid I’m taking one for the team to negate the optimism. Bucknuts 100, Horns 0
  24. Good call CJ! It’s apparent that Flood is doing whatever he can to find his next best combination.
