We were playing Big12 defenses. The single year when we were in the SEC, when we played a truly good pressure defense we stunk.

Undebatable fact.

I would love to see some tinkering at the OL. Didn't Flood start Neto last year for a half then took him out and we never saw him again? Did the same thing with Seymore this year, even though he was battling an injury. I would be curious to see if Sekorski could play center and we move Cajoe to LG or RG and take out Robertson for now. Get some more bulk. Install a wildcat formation with Michael Terry. Hell, we did it with Savion Redd. Couldn't hurt because Terry is a higher caliber athlete. I would also see about running more unbalanced lines and making an OL a TE on some plays like we did with Obgo. We are at critical mass here and need to be aggressive and creative as possible.

Dude gotta be trolling

I think this would be a slam dunk if Manning was the name on the jersey.

Huh?

I agree that Arch has been a problem for sark but we had a whole lot better run game and a wr that blew past defenders in the deep game.

Ya’ll need to be way more realistic with yourself’s. Hiring a OC defeats the purpose of why sark got the job here. If he’s going to do that we might as well get rid of him. My first vote would be cignetti because i think sark reached his peak here in 2023 and 2024.

You really think Gerry can take a snap and throw a football when he’s got one corn dog in each hand? Dudes meant to play defense with those corn dog clubs.

I am not defending the offense and agree that it was bad. But this breakdown and analysis is at best incomplete. In the first half, the offense only had one drive that was a 3 and out. It is not really their fault that we had a punt return for a touchdown that immediately put the defense back on the field. In the second half, Florida started with the ball and had something like a 8 or 9 minute drive. You can't blame that on the offense. Now, unfortunately the offense answered with a 3 and out, so that certainly didn't help. As I recall, Florida immediately had another time consuming drive. Certainly the offense was bad. But we should not ignore that the defense had their own issues and they were not all the offense's fault.

260 this year against OU, then 195 (OSU), 201 (Tenn), 173 (!!! Florida). (Also 161 and 305 against the two non-P4 teams) Whoa, I got the quote wrong (from somewhere) - several 300 yard passing games last year, sorry my mistake 346 Miss St 328 Vandy 389 Arky Probably the article I read said no 300 yard games against P4 teams THIS season and I misquoted it ...

That's not gonna stop the media hysteria, drama and talk.

Honestly feel a sadness for Arch. He seems like a great kid. It is what it is though.

How did you?

So after all the evaluations, the conclusion is no changes and business as usual? 😂 Sark sees the iceberg, refuses to turn the wheel, and is determined to go down with the ship. At least he’s consistent.

Wonderful idea! Let's have an OC change midseason. I'm sure our players will immediately grasp all new offensive concepts within a couple practices and blow doors off of every team left on our schedule! Shoulda thought of this earlier.

Sark was the HC/OC from 2022-2024 when our offense averaged Top 20 in the nation. There was a major change in 2025-2026 and it was QB. Same HC/OC who certainly has his own issues. However, his issues didn’t cause this fall off. Neither did the LG position.

Absolutely!! I also expect to lose about 15 lbs. and gain muscle mass with this QB change. With some luck, i might even gain a couple inches downstairs.

Nothing is happening with coaching staff until after the season.

Do you even watch football

If you do not think Arch is a major problem you must not be watching the games....

I mean he gets fired he walks away with 30 million. Smart move.. Life is good...

Do you guys have any idea how stupid you are? Like Rams saying they need to bench Stafford.

The presser is only cementing what we’re afraid of- Sark is going to stick with Arch until it’s far too late to save the season.
