  1. Today
  2. I’m ready to jump in the pool head first and drink the koolaid. One side of the coin is the kid is legitimately interested and wants to see what Texas has to offer. The other side of the same coin is that courting Texas increases negotiation leverage. There are ample examples for both. I’m unfortunately on the later, there are questions I don’t have access to the answers for. For example, did the staff not reach out prior to gauge recruiting interest of such a high profile recruit? Why/why not? I’m excited to hear what comes about from the next couple of days. I look forward to be hopefully proven wrong.
  3. Listen, I know a lot of you don't believe Monshun Sales and Easton Royal would both be in the same class... but considering the fact that we expect Wingo and Coleman to be gone, not to mention Arch and a litany of others, there would be ample NIL there for both. Anytime a recruit seeks out contact, your ears perk up. If they do get on campus at the same time, I could see the staff and Wingo/Coleman pitching what they have now as a precursor to what they could be together. Sure.. it's a stretch to think this kid would leave the midwest.. especially with Ohio St. in the fold, but if the team reaches the heights we all hope for and expect, I think it becomes a true possibility. Can we fend off LSU and Ohio St. for the 2 best wr's in the country?
  4. @Jeff Howe in all the SEC standings graphics I've seen this week (like this one) we're listed before aggy. But don't they have the tiebreaker over us, given the head-to-head series win? (If the SEC tournament started today, we would be the #3 seed, not the #2 seed as this graphic implies.) If so, then these visuals are... misleading if not downright wrong.
  5. You’re doing great Jeff . I was just kidding with you. You are very articulate & knowledgeable.
  6. This team has plenty of capable arms. Will that match the timing of use, the matchups and the rhythm? That’s the question. There aren’t enough games/innings to keep everyone primed and ready to go. It’s a tough ask for Winter. He had a long layoff then pitched this weekend and now starting a game. It shouldn’t be surprising he’s a bit all over the board in performance.
  7. The Sheriff and cheese fries at The Posse are the bomb!
  8. Shocking the people flooding the comments the first two innings were nowhere to be found the last 7 innings.
  9. Cody Howard is out of the bullpen to get the last out of the game.
  10. Higgins has given up a couple of base hits, including an RBI knock.
  11. It looked like Tinney took a ball to the inner thigh/groin on Higgins’ first pitch.
  12. He’s walking back to the dugout. Andrew Ermis will finish the game behind the plate.
  13. Tinney is being looked at by the trainer. Schloss is out of the dugout.
  14. I'm starting college at 47 years young this fall.. and while I'll be going after my undergrad studies here in the metroplex, the goal is to finish up in Austin. I wanted to play basketball at UT.. a dream I never realized.. but to get a degree from there would mean everything.. for guys just like him. 🤘🏿
  15. Same… scary notification to receive
  16. Man oh man I misread this title
