  2. Florida played 5 teams that are in contention for the CFP: @Miami vs Texas (true home game) @ TAMU vs UGA (neutral) @ Ole Miss These were all one score games in the 4th quarter. Which one doesnโ€™t look like the other? Florida played 3 home SEC games and went 2-1, with a late loss to Tennessee after the team had already given up. Florida was a talented, capable team. Out of 5 good teams, they were due for one upset. We just happened to be the lucky team that caught them at the right time in the right conditions (no Muhammad, etc). Florida losing to USF also did not help. Florida truly was the most annoying team in CFB this year. Thanks Sun Belt Billy!
  3. Not immediately. Only if we are left out on selection Sunday (which is obviously the most likely scenario) but let's give them a chance to get it right.
  4. Youโ€™re emitting mixed signalsโ€ฆ
  5. bishop putting up video game numbers in a very tough level of TXHSFB

  7. The previous post(s) about cupcake scheduling hit the nail on the head, IMO - the networks won't stand for it. I grew up watching the OSU - Michigan, Texas - OU, and Alabama - Auburn games, and I have no skin in the game. Networks want to extend this to OOC games to Get the same results with folks watching a true marquee matchup.
  8. That's because the big 12 was weak, and we needed a quality win to help our case. That doesn't matter at all now that we are in the SEC. The level of competition is so much higher.
  9. Yes, exactly that. Would like UK to stay a basketball school and not have to worry about them in FB lol.
  10. Like the time the OU grad became the head coach at Texas?
  11. This is where is matters moving forward. 9 SEC games a year is brutal but equates to elite SOS each year. Big non-con games aren't needed now and are really more of a risk in the current CFP format.
  12. Keep the game. Go win it next year and fast track ourselves to the playoffs while not losing to an unranked team next year. Thats the solution. Just win the ones that were supposed to and donโ€™t get blown out if we arenโ€™t picked to win.
  13. I trust Clark, Carlton may be Clarkโ€™s new Bosa
  14. That would be, and a traitorous move for the UL grad lol.
  15. That would be a hell of a hire for Kentucky.
  16. Looks like Oregon OC - Will Stein is the current favourite for the Kentucky job. Didn't realize he was a Kentucky native.
  17. I agree. The committee is dictating that all they care about is loss count. We already play a 9 game SEC schedule. We don't need more SOS so high profile non-conference games are just for the TV networks. You know what make us more money? Making the playoffs and winning championships and we risk that continuing the dice roll non-conference games.
  18. Now that you mention it, I don't understand it either. Think he's done pretty well there, but unless he has ties to Penn State or he's from around that region, then it would be a weird hire.
  19. What's he done that would make him desirable? Tennessee's been so up and down, and this year, down compared to expectations. And they just got spanked by Vandy in their rival game.
  20. Oh no way? That's an interesting one.
  21. Yeah I've been seeing it, too. Kinda crazy if that is true. Maybe Gerry was onto something.
  22. A lot of chickenshit casual takes in here. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ anOSU will be a great start to 2026!! ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿพ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿˆ
  23. Iโ€™m seeing smoke about Heupel to Penn st.
  24. 2 best/safest schools in the SEC would be Texas and Georgia. Everyone else has a new coach, a coach thatโ€™s leaving, or a coach thatโ€™s not proven much yet.
  25. Yk I thought the whole Deboer to Penn State was all bologna but idk man lots of smoke from different sites, would be insane if that happens lol
