  1. Past hour
  2. Per me ain't nothing. You're talking "instincts" and "pace." What does that have to do with NBA badassness? Maybe that's an unfair to slow boy Black. Stephon Marbury was quick as lightning. He didn't compare to NBA greats.
  3. Everyone is always losing in a convo with you ... per you. You absolutely can have elite instincts, pace and feel as a player. You can be elite in many ways without being the fastest athlete.
  4. How can a PG/Combo guard be slow as christmas and be considered elite on "skill." He ain't got not skill. The greatest skill players of all time were quicker than lightning (kobe, jordan, irving). You are losing this, Gerry.
  5. Got it. You are 100% on record as a bust October 4, 2026. I'll give you credit in a few years if you are correct.
  6. Samaki Walker was a lottery pick. Unless Black improves about 10x he won't do much.
  7. Oh, he'll make it in the NBA. And he will be a first round/lottery pick. It's always whether guys become good players or ascend to be elite players in the league.
  8. Doesn't matter to me what they say recruiting a player. He won't make it in the NBA unless he speeds up drastically.
  9. It's not my decision ... but passing along to Sean Miller, John Calipari, Jon Scheyer, Todd Golden, etc... letting them know.
  10. Today
  11. He takes two seconds to get shot off. If you are telling me that translates to the NBA you're lying. He hugs ass.
  12. 3 bucks for 3 months brings in the trolls.
  13. He's 6'2" and he's slow. He ain't more skilled than my grandma. Do what you want with him.
  14. I dislike Aggies so much I can not watch them without shooting the TV but not sure Elko will not do well there with their resources. They have No. 1 recruiting class and with portal can get things improved pretty quick. Hope I am wrong, have too many Aggie relatives. All I see is tonsils when we lose to them . Luckily have not had to put up with that for some time.
  15. He's definitely more in the elite skill set of pace control, spatial geometry, rhythm, etc.. with length, strength and the ability to shoot the ball with true PG vision/natural feel.
  16. Here's some useful information. 27 June 1996 @ 4:30 AM on my way to work. I was driving from Lewisville to Frisco.
  17. Lol true! Careful what we wish for.
  18. @Bobby Burton has talked about this before, they have no control (unfortunately) over the ads, gambling, political, etc that are played by Apple/other platforms on the podcasts this is not a part of OTF production. Agree or disagree Kalashi, sports books, draft kings, etc make so much money on sports “predictions markets” that they’d be silly not to target every sports themed podcast for their ads.
  19. Many dot.com and tech companies didn't make a profit for years a couple of decades ago, but now they generate trillions of dollars. AI is situated to be more profitable than those companies because it's built on the infrastructure built by them while simultaneously superseding the previous ceiling, which is why they are all investing heavily in AI. This is beauty of human flourishing initiated by Western civilization embodied in the story of Odysseus. There is an inherent risk in venture capitalism, but the risk in gambling is a different order of magnitude. Another way of putting it is that gambling is a zero sum game; investing in business growth frequently results in increased wealth for all involved.
  20. Profit? Like all the AI companies that have saturated all everything, but made very little …profit?
  21. Obviously the profitability is a prerequisite for the volume of ads. That only reinforces my point about suckers. If these gambling shysters weren't making money hand over fist, they wouldn't be able to afford the nonstop ads. If I don't like it, the only way to voice my displeasure is to alter my viewing habits. I personally don't consider gambling as any less of a vice than prostitution. People can spend their money as they wish, but I don't need to be around it.
  22. What it should also tell you is they are making an incredible amount of profit if they can afford to sponsor virtually any mid level enthusiast podcast that touches on sports. Look at the number of competing gambling sites now: draftkings, fanduel, kalshi, etc. they all spend big bucks to advertise and they still make a killing. I can write my picks down on a piece of paper and get the satisfaction of being right without the agony of losing money if I am wrong.
  23. Hell yea Wemby was awesome for that and my respect for him shot up. I’ll still watch OTF because they are great and I do understand needing ad revenue, I just hate that it has to be from gambling companies.
  24. I'm glad Wemby called it out the other day. I've watched fewer OTF videos over the last six months or so because of the increased amount of gambling ads. Probably doesn't matter because the amount of gambling ads has only increased. I must say, however, if the banner remains I may be forced to boycott videos. There's only so much I can take.
  25. Yea less prize pick ads would be nice. I don’t bet either, but the way it has fully taken over all sports is nauseating.
  26. I hope they at least remove the banner from the screen. If we get fewer prize picks ads, it will be worth it. I've never bet in my life, so I don't get the attraction. The fact that there are constant gambling ads on all sports products tells me the world is full of suckers, but I guess I didn't need gambling goobers to prove that.
