The NCAA already said the 5‑for‑5 model won’t apply retroactively, so any Texas seniors finishing in Spring 2026 aren’t getting an extra year. It only affects athletes who still have eligibility after the rule goes into effect.

My opinion on Drink has done a 180 in a year. Personality wise, he’s everything guys like Tom Herman and Dan Mullen have tried to be and failed miserably. Drink is perfect for a place like Missouri.
