  1. Past hour
  2. We aren’t beating Ole Miss (or anyone else) with Arch playing qb. We need to see what KJ has, I’m excited about him and at least you will know if you need an experienced transfer qb or not next year.
  3. Arch hasn't even entered the portal and we've already got him at Ole Miss throwing for 5,000 yards and at LSU beating Texas out of spite. 😂 At this rate, by next week he'll have won the Heisman at both schools, claimed two national titles, and be giving his Hall of Fame induction speech. Meanwhile, back here in reality, he's still Texas' quarterback. 🤷‍♂️🏈
  4. While I agree with you on some hits staying with you, I think Q was never physically the same after that hit. He never had the arm strength / velocity that he had prior to that hit and the injury caused by it.
  5. Believe you said this in another thread(believe that was you).......and i agree
  6. I think it’s protecting the ball . He’s not playing loose because he is scared to turn the ball over . He is best when he is a gunslinger, and except for a couple of isolated throws, he’s too scared to do that right now. Whether it be coaches, family, or his own headspace, he is a little scared to sling it . It’s been reinforced by him giving 2 games away with 2 turnovers. Last year he protected the ball pretty well, and wasn’t so shell shocked.
  7. QBs can take some brutal shots. It's not a stretch to suspect that there could be subconscious behaviors to avoid taking hits like that. For me, it would most likely be entirely conscious. I still vividly remember a hit I took almost 60 years ago in seventh grade.
  8. So now the standard for "developed" is being a top-7 NFL pick? That's a pretty convenient moving target. Quinn arrived at Texas coming off limited playing time, won a conference championship, made the Playoff, improved his command of the offense, improved his decision-making, and left as an NFL draft pick. If that's "not developed," then a whole lot of college coaches around the country would love to fail that way. That's confusing draft position with player development. Not every 5-star becomes a top-7 pick. The question is whether Quinn left Texas better than he arrived. Unless we're pretending the Quinn from his first season and the Quinn from his final season were the exact same player, the answer is pretty obvious.
  9. Best of the year no doubt
  10. QE was perfect for Sark prior to the Dallas Turner hit against Alabama. Go back and watch the video. The 20 yard out across the field just before that hit was a throw only a handful of NFL guys could make. He was never the same after that hit.
  11. That is not the Arch we saw the second half of last season so we know he can play much better. Something has caused him to become apprehensive and play tight. Fear of throwing an interception? Not trusting his receivers to continue on the proper route? Expecting to get blasted by a 350 pound DT because he doesn't trust his OL? The overall pressure of everyone's expectations? Or all of that combined? I presume the team has a sports psychologist who can help him work through whatever it is.
  12. But i would like to know what other players are getting reps with the ones
  13. I hope this lights a fire under Arch’s a$$, today he said he’s gonna let it rip and he’s gonna die on that hill. I’m a big KJ fan though I do think he needs to hit the buffet a few times a week but for me I’m never not going to root for a kid going through adversity
  14. Even if KJ starts do you think Sark is going to walk into a press conference and say we are starting KJ. Also new guard or center? No doesn’t want Ole Miss to have anything!
  15. I really hope this doesnt end up like that Florida State fan on reddit who made a terrible bet.
  16. Did we try anybody else out along the offensive line yet?
  17. Today
  18. Best day yet. Really proud of how they practiced and they’re ready to go out and compete to a high level.
  19. Sark sees it. He may not want to and he may know 1,000,000% more than we do about why, but he sees it. Doesn’t mean it’ll translate, but man, after watching the Browne breakdown, the plays from Sark are there- it’s Arch.
  20. This video is why Gerry has been on this train longer than everybody else.
  21. I didn’t watch the whole thing, but what I did watch says KJ needs to start. It’s unfathomable how Arch is missing this many open WRs.
  22. Ewers struggled to stay healthy for the most part. He was always playing with something. Ewers usually started hot and could light teams up. His other main struggle was the deep ball which is a big part of Sarks offense. He was money in the short game and could move the chains.
  23. Don't ask, don't tell.
