All he needs is a Heisman and a Natty - ideally with a 16-0 record - and I'd put him on my list too π
-
He said we are too close to the Red Zone, gotta help coach out π
-
Also was glad we made the extra point!! I was praying so hard π π π
-
I am always so glad that he played through the oblique injury that season, because if he hadnt, he would not have had that career defining moment. π₯Ήπ€ It will be on Texas highlight reels til the end of time.

I felt like I was in a vortex in the third quarter! My sister and I kept yelling βwhatβs happening!?β π

Iβm sorry, but for me, it always starts with Earl at the top of the list. I certainly donβt mean any disrespect to the other Longhorn greats, but Earl just represents everything I love about the Longhorns. And I fully acknowledge that I may not be objective on this topic, but itβs my undying position on it. And Iβm ready for Arch to rocket up the list to just behind Earl.

I hate this so much

And notice that the national media has not covered this story at all. Not a sign of it anywhere on socials. Condolences to the Prenter family. There's still a lot of talent in the portal so we just got to be patient. -
I put Nobis in for Williams.

Bobby asked posters to take the survey. He didnβt say post your answers here. Defeats the whole purpose.

Texas women's basketball portal thread

To put things in perspective, he could have easily prioritized the portal and getting replacement players for the ones leaving; but he chose to focus on the human and being there for a player. Admittedly, I've been refreshing trying to see what info there is on incoming transfers, but this makes sense why there hasn't been much news. While I want Texas to field the best possible teams and always win it all, Vic's actions show that there are things more important than sports. Also, prayers for Grace Prenter's family, it's very difficult to lose a loved one, especially a parent. -
Earl Campbell for me on the goal line with Ricky a close second. Honorable mention and confident to give on 1 yard line anytime Cedric Benson ( he always just fell forward) and Butch Hadnot.
-
Same for me except I took Tommy Nobis instead of Ricky (I am an old guy) ... Ricky was my 4th and goal guy though π€ Wouldn't argue with anyone who had him top 4 behind Earl and Vince. Not sure why Street doesn't get more love ... 20-0 as a starter, beating Arky in the 15-14 classic and winning the Natty in 1969.

I have a request for a CJ or OTF deep dive into multi-year NIL budgeting and what a realistic recruiting class budget is mapped against prospects. For example, we hear sometimes that the two top WR (Royal and I forgot the other ones name) would be out of our budget. Well, what is our budget? Could we land Camara, Royal, Meredith given our budget constraints IF they all wanted to sign with us? iβd really like someone to do a deep dive on this and maybe compare our NIL and recruiting strategy against someone like USC who signed a p+ high level recruits last year, but had mediocre classes the two years before that. sorry for typos on my phone. hookem! π€π€π€

Good for Rori! Hope she balls out!

Sarah O started following WNBA draft
-
Definitely the steel of the draft. Good fit with her new teammates. Will be a fun watch.
-
Two of rookie teammates are from UCLA and one from ND
-
Was hoping the Suns would draft Rori. The Suns are moving to Houston in a couple years. 6o

Don't know many coaches that would do that especially for one that didn't play much this season on his team. One thing you can't question is that Vic cares about these girls no matter how tough he is.
