Welp NC or any of the big Florida achools would be happy to make the move. Miami or FSU both have a pretty storied past. I know the Gatora would jave a fit....kinda like atm did when Texas was trying to move over. Im pretty sure they can come to a middle ground.

We could be looking at a 24-team playoff

Good question. My answer - not much good. Undeserved. A not so much talked about issue the more you expand. It increases the odds that teams make late season personnel decisions that impact play and potential outcomes in those late season games. And still defaults to too many teams, too few games and too many unbalanced schedules. The bs seedings matter too. About the only reason to do 24 is more money. But as one who attends that only costs me more so that’s not exactly benefit. -
Good point. It would be hilarious if LSU got expelled from the SEC for cheating in basketball.

The interesting thing about the Carot Top jokes with Norm was that they predate YouTube and social media. So it lived in obscurity as an occasional rerun but took new life with YouTube views years later.

I literally said Rodney before I even saw your post. Back to School will never get old.

Now let’s see what they do with basketball

horns would have made the 24 team playoff in 2022 in sarks second year . 8-4 https://www.espn.com/college-football/rankings/_/week/15/year/2022/seasontype/2 -

Seems like both players were already on the team. Aidan Anding signed with LSU Dec 2024 and enrolled in May 2025. Gabriel Reliford signed with LSU Dec 2023 and enrolled Jan 2024. Is there a way a player can sign with a program but not be on the official roster?

Yeah I noticed that phrase, which is an NCAA thing, not a conference thing AFAIK. Very curious to include that. I can't confirm from any reliable source that LSU is on probation. The articles I saw showed a June 2026 end date from a 2023 penalty.

A new comedian on the scene who I dig is Geoffrey Asmus. Also, Mike Birbiglia’s “Thank God for Jokes” is one of the best sets I’ve ever seen

Why not try 16 first? No byes nice even number. You can always go to 24 if 16 doesn't work but you'll never be able to shrink it. -

LSU is also attempting to violate the rules rules other sports. It’s time to hammer LSU period.

What is the point of having conferences if there is no champion? -

Pete Thamel reporting that LSU has rostered two additional players and are now up to 105 limit, and neither of them are former NFL players.

The goal is to get in the CFP annually and hope to be playing ones best football. 24 increases the chance of making the CFP. -

FCS does it with it 24, but they have 3 extra conferences. I like 16, with the higher seed hosting through QFs. Adds something to the regular season to be able to host 2 home playoff games. -

11 votes needed to expel LSU from the SEC
Neil Leininger replied to Hookem72's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Sankey wouldn't even schedule the meeting if he didn't have the votes. I think the meeting gets canceled once LSU backs down, but if that meeting happens as scheduled on Thursday, LSU is gone. -
I’ve seen several people on here list comedians from the show Kill Tony. Not trying to be a hater, but none of those comedians have put in work like the old-school comedians. Those guys get tons of clicks for performing for one minute and all of a sudden they are superstars. Old school comedians had to put in tons of work to make it to the top. There’s a big difference between being funny for a couple minutes versus holding a crowd for an hour.

I’m guessing the way the player’s lawyers cross examined Sankey at the preliminary injunction hearinf with lines like “How’s it feel now that the Rabbit’s got da gun!?!?” Didn’t help LSU.

Lane would have to go imho. Every stop he’s made an 🫏 of himself and the school. I think it’d be a great, if not small, societal signal if one single person/entity would be held to account. They/he won’t. Money won’t allow it. Imperative we beat them in year one. 🤘🏽
