  1. Past hour
  2. ...which bodes well for the running game. Connor Stroh is huge and strong as can be. I was really impressed with how well he played.

  3. I like these cut ups vs teams. I'll post the O here, as it's every offensive play against Ohio State. If you want to watch the D, you can find it on this guys channel. The other guy I used to watch that made these, stopped doing them this year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96PtApR4fn0
  4. Yeah, Arch has a higher ceiling than Sayin though. Arch is the prototype of what you would want your QB to look like if you built him in a lab. I still don’t know about Sayin’s deep ball though, he under threw Tate pretty bad on the TD. I was glad to see that his “quick processing and accuracy” that we heard about all off season seems to not have been overstated.
  5. It just doesn’t make sense because I truly believe Sark is an elite play caller, and this game doesn’t diminish that to me. I just wonder if behind the scenes Arch has struggled and Sark knows he isn’t capable of running the full offense, at least not yet.
  6. Needs a real OC that can call plays. I do want to see what adjustments are made from this game to the games in Gainesville and Dallas to validate my thoughts. Flood and Milwee are OC and Co-OC to justify their pay, but they don’t call plays.
  7. Yup. We didn’t watch Arch throw into triple coverage all day. He threw into coverage a few times. Fine. It happens. It wasn’t about him missing some wide open reads. That happens too. It was watching him badly miss open WRs with his passes when he made good reads. That’s a different level of fail, and needs to get much better quickly, because that’s a base level of execution that’s non negotiable.
  8. Even with that gameplan…if Arch makes 3-4 of those easy throws, Texas wins easily. It was just a terrible game for Arch and he shouldn’t ever do that again. It’s not who he is.
  9. That was a very good catch. That might have been the only time. Ohio State was up two scores at that point and were just trying to keep everything in front them. Hence all of the empty yards that Texas fans think shows they were actually better. The real issue is that why is Julian Sayin already better than Arch Manning? That on top of Sark turning Quinn Ewers from 5* #1 overall into a 7th round pick would have me really questioning your program.
  10. And CJ Stroud would have torn ya’ll apart lol. Wtf does that have to do with anything? Sayin is already being developed better than Arch is
  11. After watching again I didn't come away any less enthusiastic about Arch. As well as OSU defense played I think the outcome was more on what Arch did or didn't do. Texas and Arch will be ok.
  12. Today
  13. I thought that at the time and looking at your screenshots, it’s clearer that would have had a much better chance than the sneak. That’s what OSU did on their first TD.
  14. We snapped it with 23 seconds left too, so helmet communications were still on to communicate with Arch if they wanted to audible.
  15. Yesterday
  16. Parker Livingstone for a TD?
  17. Very well said ! It’s refreshing to read 🤘🏻
  18. Kyle Flood or AJ Milwee who I assume are in the press box should have seen how Ohio St was stacked in the middle and screamed at Sark to call timeout and not run that play
  19. Sorry, I don’t know how Texas got those yards because their offense wasn’t a threat. I don’t think one of their WRs beat an Ohio State DB the entire game
  20. Great angle. Hopefully the next time we’re in that situation, they send Arch in with two calls. On these type of plays, idk why you bring the receivers in so close to the line. Isn’t the idea to get defenders away from the ball carrier? If you’re going to qb sneak, go five wide and take five defenders out of the play.
  21. Sarkisian would have liked some calls back like any OC. What I’m saying is he dialed up enough to win if we executed.
  22. I keep watching the failed goal line attempt. I really wish this was a handoff to Baxter and he ran left behind Goosby / Endries.
  23. Remember everyone, the national media likes their money too. There's a reason texas was ranked #1 in every poll but also an underdog to ohio state. 1. If they are wrong, they can now create a massive negative talking point on that Longhorn Logo which brings lots of clicks and attention for their respective platforms. As @Gerry Hamilton says, they build everything up, so they can tear it down later. We all knew the offense was young and struggled a bit against our own defense which is incredible. May be the best in the country. 2. Relax. Stay off social media, and enjoy the potential growth of these players from week to week. We've had tons of all Americans/great players at every position who stunk it up a time or two when they first dipped their cleats in the fire. Same goes for coaches before they got over the hump. Analyzing everything that goes wrong will do nothing but raise your blood pressure lol. And yes, I know there's been a recurring theme with some of the teams struggles. Let it be a team problem and let them keep working on it. They do have the right to get better. God bless you all. And HOOKEM!
