Regardless, Texas and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi are underway, and it's not a good start for the Longhorns. Michael Winter got the start and allowed two singles, walked a batter and gave up an RBI single. The Islanders have a 1-0 lead with the bases loaded and no outs in the top of the first.

That’s awesome. I recently started collecting cards with autos, though focusing on ones where they are wearing Texas jerseys. Unfortunately this is getting quite expensive. Did manage to pull an Arch auto from a panini box though which was sweet.

Love listening to Sark, marshawn needs to learn how to sit back and let sark talk sometimes lol. I can’t help but think Sark will be at Texas for a while the way he talks about living in Austin. Hopefully we have him and Muschamp running things for the next 5-10 years or further

Mississippi State going 0-6 the last two weekends has been incredibly surprising. Bama also went 0-3 last weekend as they head to Austin on Friday.

I do see the offensive benefit, IF she's willing to accept a diminished role. IMO, the offense should not be built around her but as a complimentary "pick your poison". I see if being more of a benefit in the second half when teams are tired and she can just play bully ball. On the defensive side, the rotations have to be on point because the quicker teams will abuse the pick and role with her until they are blue in the face.

I get where you’re coming from, and you’re right that Vic’s system is built on defense and mobility. I just think Crooks could still bring something Texas hasn’t had in a while ---a steady interior scorer who can settle the offense when transition isn’t there. With the length and athleticism Texas already has around her, she wouldn’t need to switch everything. She’d just need to rebound, wall up, and finish, which she can do. She actually adds a different dimension that could make Texas tougher to guard. Just another way to look at it.
