  1. Past hour
  2. Yet he interviewed.
  3. ESPN story... https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47340854/michigan-interim-president-domenico-grasso-provides-update-investigation-football-program-athletic-department
  4. In reference to C.J's dating red flags....no chicks with butterfly tats on her elbow, no girls who film themselves working out at the gym, etc,, What were some of the "Red Flags" when it comes to recruits? For me, it is the guys who spend too much time promoting themselves on social media. As much as I was excited about the possibility of getting Evan Stewart a few years ago, it didn't take me long to tire of his constant self-promotion. IF you are great, others will promote you. Another huge red flag for me would be a guy who already has a criminal record in high school. I think Texas does a great job of vetting these types but other programs seem to attract them....Georgia. For the record, we should stay away from recruits with butterfly tattoos on their elbow. I side with CJ on this.
  5. Think he would be a force at some place like Houston . Has been great at UTSA and would be a really good recruiting East Texas .
  6. agree 💯 percent. It needs to stop.
  7. Hes 100% correct about where things are at in "college athletics". People should hear college GM's in FB and BB talk about the actual where this is at. The agents are the issue. Brining in agents to HS recruiting and now in control of "college athletics" is horrifically bad for "college athletics". Any time agents have the most control, the sports are worse for it.
  8. Turned down multiple P4 jobs
  9. He’s such a cry baby these days. Let’s not leave out that he’s interviewed and tried to get multiple different jobs in multiple years as well
  10. yawn....
  11. Gentleman from Corner Canyon in Utah has moved to Weber St as well. High profile HS coaches moving on up.
  12. Great move for Gates IMO. He will do well as a college coach Very good communicator, tough and disciplined mentality and can actually coach

  14. Man, previewing the portal players is like looking at the Bass Pro Shops fishing and hunting catalog - it's Christmas!!!
  15. Today
  16. Mystery man has gotta be Baugh and/or Berry. But I'd think Berry would likely follow FW to OM.
  17. Sure is a lot of crying on the Florida sites and I love it
  18. Agree. People need to stop the insane argument that the expansion ‘devalues regular season’ because the regular season schedules are so inequitable, it’s ridiculous. Texas would be favored to win against 8 of the 12 teams who made the playoffs. They aren’t picking the best teams in current model, they are picking the best records (plus the bs G5 entry to avoid lawsuits). Expand to 24, play two rounds to get down to Top 8 on New Years.
  19. Wasn't many plays made for the Buffs this past year on defense... but he made most of any of them that were made on that side of the ball.
  20. I think this is more to what Gerry has mentioned several times. You need to fit guys to your scheme, but what is your scheme? I'm not sure Sark is a power football type of guy, he's very finesse but he wants the appearance of being a downhill running team. Physical, etc. As you said, he does a lot of things great, that is undeniable.
  21. Okay be real with me, how do I pronounce his name? I've never seen Tawfiq before.
  22. Playmaker on defense... Will hit you. Probably too small for our safety room.
  23. He's RAC guy..deep threat type. Nice hands.
