Neal Brown is the new North Texas head coach

FWIW, Chad Scott has been an assistant coach on Brown's staffs at multiple stops.

Early in the season, Brown had some impactful moments with the offensive staff. As Texas looked to gain a rhythm in the red area, I was made aware that Brown put his fingerprints on a few areas of the Texas offense earlier in the season. This was a good hire from Sarkisian, a former head coach who had a clear strength in the running game.

Texas benefitted this season as a result of Neal Brown.

Can’t imagine Scott would go unless it’s encouraged by Sark or it’s an OC title

I've been a Neal Brown fan for a while. He's been at the forefront of what I've called the hybrid spread culture in football, where you can run a modern, wide-open offense with heavy personnel.

All i care about is ALL of our secondary coaches sticking for year two of continuity because that’ll help with how incompetent they looked at times this year.

Damn.  If he was a big help in the running game I would have hated to see it if he weren’t around 😳

I'm not sure he was as much of benefit as you're claiming here Jeff, but I do wish him all the best at UNT, big shoes to fill, that is for sure.
