Notre Dame just “opted out” of any bowl while crying about missing the CFP. They are giving up 15-20 more practices. Such a short sighted decision. 
 

I think any non CFP bowl will die in 2-years and the NCAA will grant all schools an additional 15 practices during that time.

Teams can just do the practices anyway.  What’s the NCAA going to do.  Players can sue and say they took away opportunities for professional development.  The system is completely broken.
