Updates on Construction for the Texas Indoor Facility (Dec. 9)

A couple of updated pictures from the future Texas Football Indoor facility and the ongoing construction just south of Moncrief and DKR.

Chris Del Conte mentioned the targeted completion date back at the beginning of the year as May 2026.

Here is how things look currently.

Paneling put up on the side near the Moody center and basketball practice facility.

Looks like the full skeleton of the indoor is upright.

That big slab of concrete will be topped with 100 yards + a small outlet towards the swimming facility for offensive line + additional rehabilitation zone.

Construction goes much deeper than I expected. This will be a tall indoor when it’s completed.

The last public mention of grass in DKR was in 2023 from CDC, but the plan was to be installed in 2026.

I imagine we will get an update in CDC's next 40 Acres Insider

Does Moody match surrounding architecture?  Does the basketball practice field?  Does the swim center?
