hookem1014 Posted yesterday at 03:28 PM Posted yesterday at 03:28 PM First the Muschamp hire, now this. Seems like Sark and the team are serious about getting the program back on track. Staff, do yall have a ballpark estimate on how much that would be? It’s separate from his NIL earnings. Quote
SB21 Posted yesterday at 03:40 PM Posted yesterday at 03:40 PM Veteran QB move here. He’s saying go get me my line with some of these funds 🤣 2 1 3 Quote
Robert Gilbert Posted yesterday at 04:25 PM Posted yesterday at 04:25 PM Bobby mentioned this morning he took less money last season as well. Like many NFL QBs, he will take less to insure higher quality players around him. Quote
On the 40 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I dont think money was ever an issue. He could get paid nothing and that family wouldnt feel it. regardless, Its a smart move by him to assist in bring talent to austin. will only help him and the team in the long run. 1 Quote
dfwHorn Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If I understand this correctly, it means he is taking less from the University direct, however he can still take external NIL opportunities that probably pay better anyway (I.e. Redbull, WarbyParker, Vuori, etc) … still helpful because it theoretically leaves more local NIL, but my guess is he is still the highest paid player in CFP next year. 1 Quote
Alex Butler Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Once again proves my theory that Mannings love winning!!! Quote
tommym Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yes, absolutely, especially in this time with NIL. Looks so good for scouts, he is a good representative of Texas Athletics, will carry on beyond the field. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago He’s prolly getting so much cash from endorsements that he doesn’t need a lot of NIL from texas Quote
HornsUpThumbsDown Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago High profile guys typically make their money from other sources rather than straight NIL Quote
