Oldest Horn Posted Saturday at 01:54 PM Posted Saturday at 01:54 PM Who suggested Texas had a weak schedule? 1 Quote
alrightalrightalright Posted Saturday at 02:13 PM Posted Saturday at 02:13 PM It’s funny that A&M complained the last two years that we had an easy schedule when they had one of the weakest schedules in the SEC in 2025. Had we beaten Florida, I think we’d have had a Top 5 SOR. Can only see Indiana, Georgia, Ole Miss, or Ohio State performing better against our schedule and two of those teams were on our schedule. 2 Quote

Glass Joe Posted Saturday at 05:33 PM Posted Saturday at 05:33 PM (edited) All 7 of A&M’s wins in the SEC this season came against the bottom 8 teams in the SEC, and not a single one of these 7 teams had a winning SEC record: Arkansas, S Carolina, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miss State, and Mizzou. A&M only played ONE SEC team in the top half of the conference, and they lost by double digits (Texas). A&M’s best SEC win was against Mizzou with their 3rd string QB making his first career start. Against the two very worst teams in the SEC, A&M gave up 42 pts to Arkansas (but won), and were down by 27 pts against South Carolina at home (but won). A&M had the most fraudulent 11-2 season in college football history (says me 😂). Edited Saturday at 05:35 PM by Glass Joe 3 Quote
TheContractor12 Posted Saturday at 05:43 PM Posted Saturday at 05:43 PM shows we should have made the playoffs if the committee has an IQ > 50 2 Quote

I think a lot of that centered around the fact that we had the trio of Vanderbilt, Mississippi St and Kentucky on our schedule without considering that Vanderbilt has been better than they've been in their history over these last two years and Kentucky is still capable of giving Georgia & Ole Miss fits. 2 Quote

I agree. I feel so many people live and die by preseason SOS/Rankings. The real truth is show at the end of the season when the smoke clears. This day and age with NIL and the transfer portal any team can be a dark horse. Quote
