I am talking about student tickets. She has gotten them every year but this year. I have an extra ticket she can use, but was going to use that for other family and friends. Students need to be taken care of, they are our future boosters. Heck she was born 3 days before VY finally beat OU and won a national championship and passed up a full ride to the University of Miami and k go to Texas. She literally would not let me put her to bed when she was little unless I sang The Eyes at least once!

I sent him a tweet on X. I am going to email him too.

My daughter was telling me that she didn’t get student tickets and she is going in to her junior year. She got them her fr San and sophomore years. I would think juniors would have priority. She can sit with me, but the University needs to fix this problem. What a joke.

It was a pretty damn good catch, but it wasn’t on the same level of catch as Cam’s catch.

Not sure why, but that guy hates Texas and is completely irrational when discussing Texas. It’s funny how his view of the SEC has changed now that he no longer covers the SEC. It is kind of hard to take an announcer seriously when they allow their biases so obviously molds their opinions. That and he has always been a self obsessed blow hard.

I think they just made themselves so toxic that they won’t ever get a seat at the table of a Big Boy conference. Had they not pulled this stunt I could have seen an opportunity in the future. With Cody Campbell involved and Maguire at the helm I don’t ever see it happening. I could see Maguire getting kicked out of the Texas HS Football Hall of Fame though. Maybe he was just drunk for the past three weeks straight.

That is what I was thinking. How many decades does it take for Tech’s reputation to recover from being untouchable. I have always liked Tech and almost played there, so I have always followed them despite their jealousy and pettiness towards Texas. This fiasco absolutely makes me sick. I don’t think I will ever be able to pull for them again. Maybe it is just me, but I think this is going to haunt the Ath Dept and school for decades.

I have seen plenty of drama in Federal Court. It isn't as common as in State Court, but it all depends on the judge. Heck, sometimes the drama in Federal Court can be worse.

Because they are the weak and feckless Bush League 12. From what I have read they are only going to try to keep Tech out of the Conference Championship thereby trying to guarantee that they would have 2 teams in the CFP. What a joke. I am so glad we got out of that joke of a conference. The Big 10 and SEC need to leave the NCAA and do their own thing. They would make ten times the money and each game would draw way more eye balls because there would be so many more good games.

Just listened. Stephen A said it was a low blow that Sarkisian said that the academics at Ole Miss made it easier to recruit because all you have to do is take basket weaving to graduate where as at Texas you lose half your hours so that portal guys can’t get their degree like they can at Ole Miss. it wasn’t a low blow it was absolutely true. Stephen A is a dumbass that couldn’t get into Texas.

The only reason Vandy was able to come back was that they refused to call holding penalties when the OTs would tackle Simmons in the second half. I felt like I was watching us play Okie State.

Maybe it is just me, but it seemed like what was holding for us was a lower bar than for others. Maybe it is just my bias, or maybe we aren't as good at disguising holding as other teams, but our DEs seemed like they were routinely blatantly held while watching on TV and it was rarely if ever called. Even in person, there were a lot of holding calls on our DEs that seemed blatant and that were not called. It also seemed like our penalties came at more crucial times last year than in the past. The timing of penalties seemed like they hurt our momentum more often than other years as well.

How Sark completely fumbled the ball on the OL again is beyond me. What is worse is that he showed the door to half the OL. We have all the skilled talent in the world, but without a functional OL it is meaningless.

That is so short sighted. Knowing the guard position in addition to Tackle when moved back out there would help him a ton in the draft. By the time he would be ready for the NFL he would have been in the system a while and would have been polished. As a result he would have been in a much better position in the draft and setting up his NFL career. Life isn't linear. Taking less now, or being more well rounded can often end up making you a lot more money in the end. Who is advising these kids?

I moved to this Board because of the BS over at IT with posters constantly attacking each other and making the board unreadable. You are always going to have moaners and groaners because this is their forum to get their frustrations and anxieties out without letting them leak into their own lives. But then the sunshine pumpers come along and make things a million times worse with the attacks on fandome and name calling. Then the back and forth personal attacks take over and you literally have to peruse pages of ridiculous personal attacks and self righteousness. If you just let the moaners and groaners post without the constant jabs they usually get over it and move on. The personal attacks are what seem to send everything spiraling much worse than any moaning and groaning. This is a fantastic site with the best information in the business, but it has been almost unreadable for the past few days. I don’t care to make this a debate, just hoping some learn to let things go so we can actually get the info on the team we want. I am coming on less and less, just because I don’t want to wade through all the Bs personal attacks and arguments over who is and isn’t a real fan.

WTF? I thought this guy was going to be a stud.

Listening to Bobby this morning talking about all the Texas fans being impatient had me wondering what he was talking about because I haven't be able to get on in a while. Then I saw that Baugh and Brown ended up back with their teams and now I see why there is a bunch of angst. Hopefully we get lucky and some more RBs jump in. Otherwise, we just took a massive hit at RB. I know that Clark played well in the bowl game, but damn. Is there anyway that Sark would consider letting CJ come back?

Losing Wisner might end up really hurting. There isn't anything in the portal available that I see as being a better option than Wisner. Hopefully, some dudes at RB jump in, because we are in a serious pinch at RB if not.
