Sark wanted Jabbar Muhammad for a reason he doesn't fully trust the corners after Brooks and Manny Muhammad. Gavin Holmes isn't physical enough for the SEC and the rest of the cornerback room is young unproven talent. One major injury to Brooks and Muhammad could cost us an extra game. Nope, we have enough young talent cross trained to provide depth i.e. can line up Jahdae Barron outside at CB, put Makuba at NB, and then have Derek Williams and Mookie Taffee at safety (among other iterations) Remember for every transfer you bring in you are stealing reps and stunting growth of players already on campus 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
