  1. Sounds like he should have returned to UT and just made NIL money and enjoyed his senior season while practicing his bench press
  2. Agreed we dont a CB when we have Manny Muhammed, Terrance Brooks, Jahdae Barron, Gavin Holmes, a bunch of young talent that are all cross trained across the DB
  3. They need to figure out how to allocate the billion dollar media rights deals from corporate media businesses amongst all the players - not demand the dwindling savings of average citizens to fund players
  4. Nope, we have enough young talent cross trained to provide depth i.e. can line up Jahdae Barron outside at CB, put Makuba at NB, and then have Derek Williams and Mookie Taffee at safety (among other iterations) Remember for every transfer you bring in you are stealing reps and stunting growth of players already on campus
  5. Will UT pursue and attempt to flip Byron Washington? I thought he should have been high on our board after having a great year for DeSoto and watching in Texas State Title Game
  6. Amen! Can’t act like every other recruit (and us personally) are without sin
  7. Maybe Sam will be solid QB#2 with Colts behind Anthony Richardson given Gardner Minshew just left
  8. Yes I would put in Jelani McDonald before I put in true freshman
  9. I hate when coaches/teams get too cute with schemes having their stud DE’s play in coverage instead of unleashing them in pass rush. Over-analyzing/over-complicating things in my opinion, getting too cute. How often should the Nick Bosa and Myles Garrett of the world be backpedaling into coverage versus simply ears pinned back breathing down QBs neck?!?!
  10. Will Randle will be my sleeper underrated impact player over the next couple years
  11. Because it was relevant in multiple different position groups: RB (2x), DB, and DL/DE Not saying it's "All or nothing" in terms of going in-state versus out-of-state, but in my opinion it just seems this current recruiting cycle is too heavily weighted towards out-of-state (judging from the threads discussing offers at different position groups) I know we can "trust Sark and coaches" but I fear they risk spreading their time and resources too thin by being spread across the entire country for a player at a position that may be immaterially better than the equivalent inside of Texas. My opinion is that the state of Texas has enough game-changers to win with if we go all-in on them which will reap benefits for generations given the relationships here. Just my 2 cents for the message board
